Nos agrado muchísimo la estadía. El hotel divino, confortable, un desayuno muy rico y con productos frescos y recien horneados. Y Kathy amorosa, incluso para que mis hijos leyeran en ingles , les regalo un libro basado en una historia local. Sin duda volveríamos

Top Notch Inn with Amazing Staff!

My husband and I planned a last-minute getaway to Bar Harbor and have always wanted to stay at The Inn on Mount Desert. We couldn't have been more delighted in our stay. The front desk attendant was so friendly and helpful, which really set the tone for our entire stay at the Inn. Our room was immaculate, and the bed was plush and comfy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and offered 2 choices of a hot dish prepared especially for you. There was also a wide variety of bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juices and plenty of freshly brewed coffee. We certainly enjoyed the pastries/cookies/breads put out daily for the guest to enjoy, along with tea and coffee. The detail that stood out to both of us was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Every single staff member was amazing, and we commented on how The Inn on Mount Desert has top notch employees. They were helpful, courteous, and each of them made our stay perfect. The owners sure do know how to treat their guests and have good folks working at the Inn who make the guests feel valued and pampered. My husband and I will return to this charming, inviting Inn.

Wonderful Customer Service and Nice Atmosphere

We are from the area, but stayed for a night in December to do something different. Had a lovely experience. Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful - nice and clean. Had fun playing pool in the downstairs gym/lounge area. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. They have a wonderful book selection for those who like to spend a little downtime reading. Overall, a great "staycation" for us!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The price seen on the internet was matched and we were given an upgrade. The location was perfect for walking around downtown and easy driving distance to great hiking. The breakfasts were fresh, tasty and artfully prepared. We are letting everyone know about this gem.

Amazing place to stay!

The room was beautiful: impeccably decorated, spotless, and cozy with just the right amount of space! It had a kitchenette - fridge and microwave. The king size bed was so comfortable - although a bit high - I'm short. It also included an elevator which is perfect for those who have mobility issues. I loved that it was walkable to the waterfront and the gourmet breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and personable and helpful when it came to finding a place to eat as there aren't a lot of options this time of year as almost all the restaurants are closed.
