Get what you pay for!
Hotel was clean with good facilities, although hard to get to and get keys if arriving after 8pm. 40 min walk to most attractions which I found to be really enjoyable as I had never visited Spain before so got to see it from all angles. Would recommend if you're on a budget or don't want to be hounded by staff or other tourist elements.
Falsely Advertised hostel not Hotel
Poorly managed Property. Not climate controlled room, I had to rely on opened noisy windows, not water failed, no hot water supply to clean oneself. Rooms are not noise proof, beds are without headboards but advertised pictures show otherwise. I was mislead and miss old as hotel but it was hostel when I had paid a price for a hotel. Worst of Property has failed to acknowledge my complaint at all. Do Not Be Mislead to avoid disappointment
Just the job...
Very convenient location for walking to Avenida Diagonal and Gracia metro station. Also, Sagrada Familia and Las Pedras are within walking distance. Room was comfortable. Bed was two singles put together so lots of space. WiFi was easy and quick.
Great stay - staff are so helpful, place is very clean - definitely worth the money
Stayed here with three friends. Our rooms were different layouts but both were great. Very clean rooms and common area. Breakfast in morning was decent for this being a hostel/guesthouse. Great location, close to metro station which took us to where we needed to go. friends had stayed here before and that's why we stayed here this time. Only faults would be the noise level but being in the city that is to be expected. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want somewhere just to rest the head before and after a busy day/weekend shopping and sightseeing.
Cleanings not done
I stayed in Barcelona City Street for 4 nights and they did not clean the room for 2 nights. I am 2000% sure that I locked the room however things are still missing. Rooms are much much smaller than you see from the picture and nothing is provided (for example water). From the bed sheet and pillow, I found body hairs which really disgusted me.
