Arrived at this hotel on the evening of 22nd December 2019. Struggled with suitcases, no one to help. One receptionist. Not a guest in sight. Reception area very dull and grubby looking. Were told we would be upgraded to a superior room without asking. Room was a disgrace. Stains all over carpet. Small upholstered seat at end of bed, stained very badly. Was a very windy evening and the curtains were blowing even though the windows look double glazed. One sheet and one duvet COVER on bed. Very poor quality bed linen. One very thin blanket in the wardrobe. Shower floor looked very grubby and dated. Ended up with no sleep due to the freezing cold room. If this is what is called a 4 star hotel then something is very wrong. Breakfast was a disgrace too. Four people milling around not one came over and told us were we could get our coffee or if everything was ok. They were just standing gossiping Food look as though it had been recycled or defrosted and there was not one other person to be seen. We were the only two in the breakfast room. We checked out the following day and was questioned as to why. When we told the receptionist the answer was... we could put you in a BIGGER room!!! End of story. Checked in to H10 Metropolitan which was amazing and added to our wonderful week in Barcelona.

Everything was perfect. We arrived much early at the hotel, around 9 in the morning, but the room was ready for us. The staff was very friendly, always smiling and the room was clean and cozy. The Shower is amazing. And also the view. The towels are fluffy and very good quality. The room is cleaned every day, and the little bottles with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were added daily. Was our first city break to Barcelona, and we are planning our summer holiday for the next year, and this hotel is going to be for sure our accomodation. Thank You!

Room: spacious but the toilet is v irritating. Its a super small prison, the walk in shower is in the middle of the room(so annoying) and the lavatory is just out !
Amenities: no coffee machine or even coffee sachets at the room
Location: Not Bad for shopping In Passeig de Gracia but v far from the beach.
Staff: Friendly and helpful. But the lobby is just a market.
Value for money: good
Not recommended for picky people and people who like privacy

We stayed at this hotel at the end of an Insights tour. First, and foremost, the entire staff made us feel so welcome and helped us with any concerns, or requests for assistance, with kindness, patience and efficiency. In addition, the rooms were spotless, the buffet breakfast was sumptuous and the gathering spots offered space and some privacy.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Room is excellent, services also, the location is a little bit far from the city, but there's a metro station nearb. It's close to the airport.
Breakfast buffet is very good
