wrong timing - refurbishment and chaos
at the time we staid at the hotel, there were refurbishing works taking place. The room on the top floor was OK, the area was not so clean because of those refurbishments. Lobby was a chaos. We booked for a business meeting and study trip, some people had to stay in the basement (room without a view, just bricks). Other clients did not get a proper room. Ashame. This hotel was not ready at the time to offer a comfortable stay (they should have closed it during the works), a pity. We hope that is fine now again.
Amazing hotel and staff
After reading the reviews I was very nervous after already booking this hotel BUT there was not one issue about our stay. We went away for my birthday weekend from 28th Feb- 03 March. From beginning to end the staff were amazing, welcoming and very friendly and informative. Our room was very clean and presented and had housekeeping everyday. I would definitely recommend this hotel and thank you Hotel Sansi for a great stay! We will definitely be back.
Perfect hotel
From reading the reviews we were a bit nervous of what to expect but I can honestly say I’ve never been more surprised. From arriving, the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly giving us advice on where to go in the city to make the most of our stay as it was our first time in Barcelona. We stayed on the third floor. Our room was spotless, with us receiving clean towels daily. We have nothing to fault, it is exactly what we wanted in the perfect location and we’d highly recommend.
Haven’t showered in two days
I don’t know where to begin. The people were very nice but nothing works. I will begin with a simple list of things that are broken: No hot water No AC No WiFi Dirty toilet Broken elevator Dirty area rug Broken door lock Safety window wide open Foam pillows flat and hard Bidé clogged Tub clogged Ripped throw pillows Smells of rotten eggs
Expected more
The window doesn’t open unless you specifically tell someone to open it. The air conditioning is not powerful enough. The cleaning staff forgot to bring towels the last day and left me a few cleaning cloths as a Christmas gift.😀
