Fabulous location in the mountains of Baturité
The hotel is located in the mountains south of Fortaleza. We rented a car in Fortaleza and drove there through Redenção and Baturité. It was approximately 120 kms. The mountains are tropical and very beautiful. The nearby monastery, towns of Guaramirang and Pacoti and Pico Alto (highest point in Ceará) were great. The grounds of the hotel are a well tended tropical garden. Included breakfast was great. The 2 km road into the hotel on cobble stone was a little difficult,but added to the experience. I think we were there during the rainy season - it would be more pleasant if during the dry season.
Always perfect
The hotel now boasts more rooms including rooms for honeymoon, an auditorium and friendliness of the staff ever. This time the weather was perfect, chill nclusive had dinner one of the nights in mnago restaurant at the hotel with a mist, simply sensational. This is a must.
Return to the valley!
My second visit. This time in the Presidential suite. A totally different experience from my last time there. Very large and comfortable room with an excellent veranda with a view of the valley behind the property. Good Jaccuzi with a digital temperature control! The room rate gives you a voucher for 50 reais at the restaurant! Good food, good breakfast, late check out till 3 PM! Exceleent 11
a poor hotel in a spectaular location
the experience beigns qith a very poorly marked approcah to the resception. if u arrive at night , as we did, u end up in the last trech trying to go over a steep slope which no car can do, appears a guard franticaaly waving, u descend backwards which is dangerous, before u take a lower road to the reception. the reception is tucked away on a side , next to the games room.. the only approach to the games room is through the reception..and if u came prepared for a relaxing game of snooker, forget it!! the games room doubles up as a meeting room!!! the 'pool' is nicely located. there is a beautiful diagram explaining how the pool is heated ecologically. except that the size is slightly larger than a bath tub..and on the day we were there, the pool was closed..no warning..no reason..just a palstic cover over the pool.. the garden is nicely done and exuberant..there is a path that runs centrally through the hotel and our room was a little to the left of the room.. the room is a shock.. really really reallly small.. u can't stick your arm out without hitting something..there is no storage space for anything..and there is, on your bed, a folder, where the price of your soiling ANY linen or breaking a glass is CLEARLY specified...as is the price of trying to steal the precious toileteries...in all my years of travelling, i have never seen anything like this.. the the toilet is basic..the labels on the toileteries faded as they are reused.. hence u guess which is the shampoo and which the shower gel!! the shower is small..the 'ecological' solar heater does not work..so hot water through a heater installed in the shower head.. again, DON'T stretch your arms in the shower ...you'll hit something.. u try to escape the claustrophobia by sitting on the verandah..open a botlle ofchampagne.. share a romantic moment...EXCEPT that since you are next to the main path, every passing guest and employee gives you a cheery greeting... the bed is small..the room does not get completely dark.. so u rise with the sun... the restaurant is reosnable..the food is good as is the service..and the view is spectaculr..except that for some reason, the hotel allows guests to park their cars RIGHT in front of this view.... the breakfast was reasonable.. the eggs were dry and cold..and there were no hot selections.. the photographs on the sight are far better than reality.. and the cost benefit fairly poor

Ainda estou em minha estadia e aproveito a tempestividade das vivências para fazer a avaliação. Hotel excelente, da reserva ao checkout (que ocorrerá daqui há 2 horas) tudo está excelente. A própria direção faz a declaração para passar das barreiras de isolamento municipal, na chegada são passadas informações como: voucher de R$ 50,00 no restaurante do hotel, a possibilidade de consumir vinho trazido de fora em toda instalação do hotel, inclusive no restaurante sem necessidade de pagar rolha, e ainda ganhei uma massagem relaxante. Fiquei no quarto A-11, excelente, arrumado, limpo, confortável e aconchegante (a quem interessar quarto possui frigobar e secador). Ponto alto do hotel fica no restaurante, onde jantamos na primeira noite, pedi o prato “camarão nas nuvens” que creio ser o prato que sirva melhor na casa, servem duas pessoas de apetite moderado tranquilamente, minha noiva pediu “Salmão grelhado” que também nos surpreendeu pela porção generosa do peixe, aproximadamente 250g, os preços do cardápio em pratos individuais varia de 68,00 a 72,00, que não foge à realidade dos preços aplicados nos restaurantes do centro da cidade, além da conveniência de não ter que se locomover-se e também é possível comer no quarto, caso prefira, fui atendido com muita atenção e delicadeza pelo garçom “Macedo”, sempre sorridente nos tratou bem e numa ocasião abriu um vinho pra mim em horário que o hotel não estava funcionando. O café da manhã é bom, e como já citado aqui as atendentes fazem na hora omelete, tapioca ou ovos mexidos quando lhes são pedidos. Como ponto de atenção poderia citar melhorias estruturais no caminho que sai da estrada de asfalto até o hotel, trata-se de uma estrada “carroçal” de mais ou menos 1km, muito estreita, e de incontáveis ladeiras, pessoas com carros de baixa potência podem sofrer um pouco e em alguns pontos se forem passar dois carros de grande porte um dos dois terá que se espremer dentro da mata. Recomendo a estadia.
