Delta Hotels by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista

Looked for a last minute getaway. Found this gem. At check in Josh was awesome. Very friendly and so helpful. Andy was also nice. We had an issue with our tv. In minutes Louis was there to fix it. Lisa at the bar was amazing. 3 weeks on the job and making drinks she never had made before. Delicious. She’s an asset to your establishment. The room was nice and clean. The ONLY drawbacks to the hotel were the tiny bathroom that needs updating and no microwave . My husband and I agreed that this is now our go-to place for our Orlando trips. Josh and Lisa sealed the deal.

What a difference a year and a half made. We took our first trip in over a year and were horrified at the conditions here. Filthy carpets, trash in room, and general unease caused us to leave after one night during which we slept in our clothes. Good luck with this one, Marriott! Great location to be avoided.

This hotel is dirty its the worst I have stayed in Orlando. It was close to Disney springs so we booked it through Expedia . We were so disappointed. This is not in any way a four star hotel. its a dump. The reception staff were not friendly and it was unclean . such a disappointment.

My fiancé and I checked in for our short trip. Pulling up, the outside of the building showed its age. The lobby was nice, and the woman working the desk was pleasant. The room was dark and stuffy with stains on the curtains and walls, and the bathroom was dark and dingy. Upon inspection of the bed we found tiny bed bugs in both the beds! After bringing it to the attention of the woman at the front desk, she offered to move us. We decided not to stay (and there was no fight in them canceling our reservation), but we wanted to show someone what we found. I guess she was a housekeeper, but she came and looked at the specks and picked them up saying “No, no, no these are not bugs! This came from the laundry.” She put them on a note pad, and kept saying they came from the laundry. I pointed out that one of them was crawling around on the paper, so definitely bugs no matter how much she denied it. That was definitely a turn off. We left and never looked back. If you do decide to stay here, check your beds!

The title says it all. But let's start with the good stuff... This hotel means well and looks nice from the outside, the staff was friendly and very helpful , the shuttle was reliable enough to get to the parks. However soon as I took the elevator and hit my floor, the moldy smell hit me and I knew the hotel is old and not well kept. I regretted the decision to stay there almost immediately. The room was dusty and smelled musty. The bathroom was not the cleanest and was just icky with scum all over the metal fitting, there were cracks in the walls (all these are backed up by pictures). I think this hotel needs a major refresh that's just my opinion as a traveler who has stayed in all kinds of hotels across the spectrum. I felt duped staying there. There were also not that many offerings in terms of food on the premises or room service. Gave major motel vibes but in a decent location.
