Excellent Stopover
Hotel is nicely located, close to the centre which is just over the river. Reception were very pleasant and helpful and there is a good secure car park nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived on a Friday night and no dinner was available, but there are plenty of good restaurants around. We went out for the evening and fancied a drink in the bar on out return, however it was closed!! We tried this hotel as a stopover on our journey from Alicante, Spain to Caen, ideally positioned at about half way. Looks more like a busy weekday hotel when all the facilities are probably open. All in all a pleasant stay
Friendly Staff
One nighter with friends, would have given 5* but our room smelt of stale tobacco. Other than that lady on reception and also did breakfast was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choice - would I stay there again....yes, but not in room 42!!
Value for money and pet friendly
Friendly hotel just off motorway, rooms clean if a little small but not a problem for a one night stay. Breakfast is a choice of hot or cold and again value for money, self service. We have stayed 3 times and always look to stay on our trips to Spain and back.
Road trip to Spain
You get good value for money. Clean room and great shower. We had a v. warm and helpful welcome from the receptionist, nothing was to much trouble. Decent breakfast with some hot and cold options. Didn't try the hot though. Also next to the main route to San Sebastian. Would definitely stay there again.
Stopped here many times en route to Spain. It is a stopover and what it says on the tin you get. Clean and comfortable
It is slightly tired - yes - but look at bill and then think a one night stop over to refresh. Next door is a standard French restaurant but again good value for money. It is basic but then one is within two minutes of the motorway either onwards to Spain or back to Bordeaux. Many peage around the area and less than one euros so small change for the toll boths required. We also had our two dogs with us at the time and again not a problem.
