Been Better
Stayed here many time prior to COVID and it was always great. One of our favorites. This was our first stay since COVID and it wasn’t the same positive experience. Cleanliness was an issue - dirty dishes in the dishwasher, no tag on the door that the room was cleaned and the staff wasn’t friendly.
Busted for my GRANDMA 93th birthday
Well I love the staff…they were very nice and accommodated everything thing we ask for…..it also good to see the same people everyday and felt comfortable around them….especially the lady with the braids I forgot her name she was a true sweetheart always had a smile….so we will definitely be back there when we come back there
Do not stay here - Safety concerns
We just stayed at Home2Suites Beachwood with a young child, and had to leave earlier than planned due to safety and security concerns. I am writing this review to warn other families with children that might be planning to stay there. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. First, every night from midnight till about 4am during our stay we heard music blasting in the hallway right outside of our room. There were people walking and talking constantly throughout the night. This made night sleep almost impossible, also considering the bed, pull-out couch and bedding were of terrible quality. Of course, i did not expect luxurious bedding or furniture at a place like this. All i was hoping for was some quiet time at NIGHT for us and our little one. Second, there was constantly marijuana smell in hallways and elevators, which makes the statement “Non-smoking hotel” totally ridiculous. Finally, last night at 4am someone was knocking at our door persistently for 15-20 minutes trying to get in. We notified the front desk about these issues the first time it happened at night (music, talking, etc.). We were told they ARE SCARED to go and do anything about it. I am speechless and hope other families do not stay at this hotel. Please stay somewhere else even if you have to pay extra. Your safety is more important.
Worst Home2Suites I’ve ever stayed at
Nothing about this was acceptable. Front desk clerk ignored my concerns. Wouldn’t supply more coffee after 3 days of stay. Would only allow cereal for breakfast but no milk. He didn’t bother to look up from his phone he was playing games on to look at the bloody comforter that was on our bed. I stay in a hotel 200+ nights a year and I will not be coming back to this one ever again.
Great service!
We enjoyed our stay while up in the area visiting family , only thing was that it wasn’t listed that the pool wouldn’t be available ( I live in the Cincinnati area and at this hotel our pool is open) . I believe next time they should make people aware. My main reason for booking this hotel was for the pool but other than that it was excellent, clean , and very welcoming atmosphere.
