So bad, I didn’t stay!

Not as advertised! As soon as I pulled up, I got the vibe this hotel is not as I was told or as it was advertised. Check in was fine, but once I made it up to my room, it was apparent I would not be staying there. The rooms are severely outdated and gross. The smell was like nothing I’ve experienced before. There was hair in the shower and on the bedsheets, as well as dirt everywhere. I quickly retrieved my items and headed back down to the desk where I let them know I could not stay here. I know that couldn’t be the first time they’ve received negative feedback especially after reading some other reviews. Did not even see the “Starbucks” they proudly advertise. Completely disappointed in this hotel. Luckily I was able to secure the last room to a nearby hotel that was originally sold out. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.
Not What it Used to Be!

We were forced to evacuate our home after a tanker truck wrecked and was leaking nearby. When I called I was told only a suite was available so we paid $165 for a 1 star place. We should've gone elsewhere and next time that's just what we will do. The front desk people that work there obviously hate their job. They are slow and rude and have no interest in customer service. There was trash all over the hotel.... in the entry way, in the elevators, lobbies, everywhere. When we finally got to our room late (a little after 11 p.m.) we had hoped to turn the news on the tv to see if there were any updates about our evacuation. The TV did not work. I called front desk and was told 'it's the weather and that I was the only one complaining'. First of all - there was no weather and OK for this price I'd expect a TV. Oh yeah and the shower was disgusting / not cleaned / very used. We settled in and slept and got up to check TV and evacuation again. Guess what - still no TV and the weather was fine. I generously gave a 1-star because at least the AC was cold. This was my LAST trip here. What a shame to see a once nice place ruined. Do NOT waste your money!!!
Nice accommodations; poor customer service

We were forced to leave home following Hurricane Ida, and found an available room here. The room itself was nice enough, clean and spacious with cold A/C, and I was happy with it. However, when we went to the pool, we encountered some problems. We were the only people there - my wife, my 10-year old son, & I - and there was an employee sitting by the pool with a backwards hat. Unprofessional in my opinion, but then again, I'm not his manager. He gave us some towels and after we got in the pool, he came over and sat on the chair above us and watched us, which was kinda awkward, but whatever. A little while later another employee came out, vaping (also unprofessional), and joined him on the opposite end of the pool, where they sat down and talked. About 20 minutes passed, the one guy vaping the entire time. Well, my son and I were playing with a beach ball, and it flew out of the pool, so he went to retrieve it. He tossed the ball to me and jumped back in. Suddenly the guy with the backwards hat blew a whistle (not sure if it was real or if he just made a fake whistle sound) and the other guy who was vaping started laughing and got up and went back inside. The guy with the backwards hat said, "No diving!" but I said, "Oh, he didn't dive, he jumped." He responded, "No, that was a dive." I said, "My son doesn't even know how to dive." My wife and I tried to tell him he jumped, but he continued to argue and said, "That was a dive - don't do it again." First of all, he couldn't even see because he was on the other side of the pool with the other guy, and there was a thing in the middle of the pool that obstructed his view. Second of all, there are steps leading down into the pool, so it's impossible to dive in unless you want to bonk your head. On top of that, like I said, my son doesn't even know how to dive, and was upset that he got fussed at when he hadn't done anything wrong. Anyway, after that, he came back over right by us and sat above us and watched us again, making us feel uncomfortable, so we eventually left. I was hoping that this would become a regular halfway stopping point when we travel from South Louisiana to visit family in Austin, but after this experience, I won't be back. I encourage management to view the pool camera footage from the mid/late-afternoon of 8/31/21 to see what I'm referring to.
Best hotel in Beaumont???🤣

There is NO WAY this is Beaumont’s best hotel. It is trashy! It is filthy! Several full timers live here. The pool was green, common areas filthy and had bugs! Ice machine flooding the hall way and their solution is is to throw a sheet over and leave it unfixed. Housekeeping is horrible!
Very cool vintage looking hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here and our time at the pool! The "pool rules" and monitoring of them were a little much in my opinion but we still had a good time. The breakfast buffet was pretty basic but still good.
