Nice location close to Chalevoix and Quebec City

Reviewed 12 september, 2021

I stayed here in September so it was probably quieter than usual. The rooms were clean enough, but they do not tell you that they don't clean the rooms during your stay so we were surprised to come back and the end of the day to unmade beds, etc. Overall it was a decent stay and the main advantage for us was the location

Excellent hotel

Reviewed 28 august, 2021

We spent a week at the hotel during summer. Our room was great, with very comfy beds (both the king and the queen murphy bed). We had a fully functional kitchen, with a big fridge and a stove, nice bathroom with plenty of towels, and a cute balcony. The entire hotel was very nice and clean. We dined twice at the hotel restaurant (Le Bistro Nordik) and the food was amazing. The outdoor pool was of a decent size, clean, pleasant, with a fantastic view of the mountain. The hotel is at a great spot if you are into hiking and it's nearby local attractions (Canyon Sainte-Anne, Montmerency Falls, Wendake), with an easy commute to Quebec City, which we visited almost every day. The staff was very polite and helpful, in spite of our broken French. We would definitely like to visit again, one week was not enough.

Conditions of rooms

Reviewed 6 august, 2021

Arrived yesterday at the hotel, and I must say I’m disappointed in the condition of the room. Door to bathroom does not close, plate under the sink falls out, dirty dishes and the screen door does not work. For the price we are paying per room I would assume things like that would not be happening. Plus we were provided with one roll of toilet paper and 2 pool towels for a room that has 4 ppl reserved but has 8 ppl capacity.

Needs some work

Booked an overnight stay here because we were in the region and wanted something quieter than in Quebec City. I liked the promise of avoiding contact with people by checking-in with the Marriott Bonvoy app and having a digital key on my phone. Upon arrival, I checked-in using the app but discovered that it was pointless since I had to go to the front desk to get a key card that would allow me to park on site. So much for no contact! (This was not the fault of the front desk clerk, who was friendly.) We made our way to the room to discover that the digital key did not work. No big deal (we used the key card instead) but what's the point of having the app?! The room was nice. No complaints. In the morning, I went downstairs to get some coffees and pastries from the café. There were two sleepy-looking young women behind the counter -- one who was friendly and one who looked like she hated her job. We were checked-out via the app (it was good for something!). The hotel is a ski resort so maybe it's not at its best in the summer. (Plus, it is still under some COVID-related limitations.) But, overall, I'd recommend it.

Perfect in every way!

We were upgraded to a two bedroom loft suite overlooking the pool and the ski hill. It was fabulous! Open air, high ceilings, amazing shower, soaking tub, fireplace, big dinning area and full kitchen. The beds were super comfy (king in master bedroom and queen in second bedroom). Everything is newly renovated and very clean. The suite does have a long narrow balcony, which is used for standing (not sitting), but you can sit just inside in the living room with the glass sliding doors open, which is what we did. The swimming pool was so nice after a full day touring Quebec City. We pretty much had the pool to our selves as we were there mid week in early July. There is great hiking trails right from the hotel. The gondola only runs every second day or so, so check the schedule when you check in if you want to ride up. The restaurant is excellent. We ate there both evenings, and the food was excellent, and nicely presented. would definitely stay here again!
