Comfortable Stay a bit dated

Reviewed 4 november, 2021

The Red Lion hotel is conveniently located just off of 405 and a few blocks from Bravern shopping. The staff were great throughout our stay, checked us in early and were always pleasant. Although the hotel is a little dated the actual room is nicely decorated with a really comfortable bed. The room came with a refrigerator and a microwave.. The reception offers complimentary coffee and small snacks to go purchase shop. There is a “to go” breakfast included because of the ongoing public health issues. These breakfast get a little old as different hotels offer different interpretations of a “to go”. Some hot items like normal taken to the room etc like eggs and meat patties, this one offers a bag with a hard boiled egg, a yoghurt, an apple, a muffin, and some juice. Perfectly adequate but just tired of these cold selections. Overall a great choice and would stay again next time in Bellevue.

Honeymoon

Reviewed 20 october, 2021

My new husband and I were finishing up our honeymoon before driving back to California and needed a place that was covid compliant, clean, and reasonably priced. We were very comfortable and able to have a good nights rest before our long drive back home. Thank you!

Great hotel

Great clean hotel,. Good location and friendly staff! Recently remodeled room. We prefer lower floor since no elevators. Hello Rewards Program helps you earn points towards future stays. Not to far from shopping and great restaurants.

Always read your confirmation letter!

Reviewed 18 january, 2021

Booked directly through Red Lion website. Great rate for Bellevue! I don't usually review confirmation letters unless I make a change or need to pull information. I was very familiar with the location, no need to review. Arrived late, around 930pm to a dark and empty parking lot. A sign on the lobby door (assuming it was the lobby) stated that due to the pandemic they had opted to suspend operations and made alternate arrangements at the Hilton next door. Not a huge issue as the Hilton is notably a nicer hotel, however it was also under some construction and it was full due to a strong storm that came through the area and left thousands without power. Plus I believe it was not operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. When I asked the desk agent about the situation she told me that the owner owns both hotels and didn't want to lose bookings. The room at the Hilton was nice. The parking was marginal because it was full up top so I had to park below and the doors were locked so I had to haul my stuff up the stairs in the dark and the rain. Lesson learned....read your confirmation letter! The Red Lion did look run down and needs to be updated from a visual standpoint.
