Don't book here
Over booking.com me and three of my friends wanted to book a stay here. Check-in was until 9pm, we asked if it's possible to check-in later. They didnt answer. We got a message, that our booking was not completed. They charged us the full price without any refund, even after booking.com called them. Don't book here, there are so many good hotels in Bergamo.
Great place to stay
We were very pleased to stay at Donizetti Royal. Perfect, clean place. Well localized in a short distance to Train station, city center, old town. Theo owner is a very kind guy, really helpful and always in touch when You need it. We strongly recommend this place.
Highly Recommended
We found and booked this B&B through AirBnB. We stayed there in November 2017. We stayed for only one night before our flight from BGY the next day but we really do hope we could have stayed longer. It is a family ran B&B and the hospitality is unforgettable. The host is very friendly, helpful and kind. We felt like we were putting up at a friend’s house. The room is spacious, clean and cosy. Our room comes with a view of Citta Alta. The location is great too. It is right in the middle of the train station and Citta Alta, both walkable easily.
The best place to stay in Bergamo!
It was a pleasure to stay in B&B Donizetti - such a great host! The B&B is located in quiet and safe neighbourhood - close to train station, bus stops and also to the Citta Alta. Around 15 min to all important "must see" attractions in Bergamo. You can always make a cup of coffee/tea in the kitchen without payment. Our room was very spacious, clean (everyday cleaning), fridge in the room, also mini bar function; fast Wi-Fi connection. Marcella and her husband were extremely nice and helpful, showed us the best places in Bergamo - attractions, restaurants, gave us many tips, advices and some maps as well. We arrived later than required hour of accomodation but it wasn't a problem! Also we could keep our luggage after check out time and explore the city. The best surprise were the home-made muffins waiting for us after a long day at Como Lake! We reccomend everyone B&B Donizetti and for sure we come back one day!!
Just perfect
Marcella is such a kind person that we just loved our stay there. She informed us about the surroundings and we could leave our luggage there after we checked out. It was very clean and nice. There is also free tea and coffe waiting for you on the table. They have also free wifi.
