There has been some room renovation since my previous visit; this seems to have been beneficial ,except that some rooms have lost a bath. We had room 12,second floor rear(North facing) fairly small for a double ,but with a connecting single room. The superb wide new bed had a proper choice of upper sheets and blankets ,as well as a thin duvet. The window had the full fit of external roller shutter with ventilating slits, fuly;opening sliding windows, and curtains/ nets. This provided a full defence against the extreme heat and sun.Note that the small room is not airconditioned, but its door is in line with the air flow. The renovated bathroom suffers from modern fads, but the basin is just large enough to be useful, the doorless shower does not flood the place ,and nobody has stolen the toilet brush! The WC is the clean new rimless type. The hotel is in an extremely quiet location, with a. nearby free, uncongested, car park.Behind the building is a canopied parking area,a bit of garden ,and a very clean swimming pool. There is a simple breakfast,as expected for a three star hotel,in a clean room with big sliding windows, partly open. There are the usual Covid precautions. I:was pleased with the staff. They even managed to get the room safe to work.

Very comfortable small hotel in the centre of Bergerac. Very hospitable host who was very helpful and spoke very good English as my schoolboy French was not up to scratch . Very comfortable room. Secure parking at rear. Good selection for breakfast.
Very good, as always

Stayed for two night on way to Spain. Great location for exploring Bergerac. Room small but clean. Swimming pool looked lovely, but didn’t go in. Sat in garden area in front of pool and got lots of insect bites! No lift so could be a problem if mobility an issue
Very happy overnight.

Don’t be put off by the look of hotel from street. An easy stroll to town. The rooms are very clean and are functional. We enjoyed the view of cathedral and sun pouring into our room in the morning. IF you want to use air-con -ask reception for the controls! The pool looked great / sorry we had no time to make use of it!
