Red Kite House

This is the second time I have stayed at the Red Kite whilst on local business. Very friendly and helpful owners, nice touch that you can have free cake! :) Clean and tidy spacious rooms. Highly recommended.

I stayed here following a recommendation from a colleague. The hotel is furnished to the highest standards my room was amazing a lovely huge comfy bed. The breakfast was yummy and made to order. Nicki and Paul are great hosts friendly and approachable. The tray of homemade cake available on arrival was a wonderful treat. I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to anyone.

We ony stayed overnight to attend an event close by the following day. We were made to feel very welcome starting with home made cake and tea in the lounge. We had booked our evening meal and we can recommend the Beef and Guinness Stew and the Vegetable and Bean Chilli. The complimentary drinks with these meals were much appreciated. The room overlooking the garden was spacious and comfortable and we both slept well. We chose the hotel using Google maps and it proved to be just what we needed and more. Would definitely stay again.

Travelling from out of the area to a school reunion, our stay at Red Kite was booked by somebody else, so we did not research before arriving. What a wonderful surprise! Having parked easily, we were greeted by Paul, who immediately made us feel welcome. He showed us to our room which was spacious, warm, very well appointed and most importantly, spotlessly clean. The reunion went well, and upon returning to Red Kite it was followed by one of the best nights sleep... the bed was truly scrumptious, a large bed and with crisp white linen! My wife enjoys a Gluten-Free diet which was more than catered for at breakfast, and I had a full English fry-up with plenty of fresh coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Kite and highly recommend!

I was extremely lucky to win a two night break at this hotel. My partner and I were treated to a bottle of Cava on arrival it was a lovely touch, we were also offered homemade cake! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and everywhere is spotless. Our room was really spacious with everything you would expect from a high end hotel it had a fridge, safe, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, kettle, biscuits and toiletries. The bed was really comfortable, we had two really good nights sleep! On our first night we walked to an Indian restaurant recommended in the welcome pack in the room. The food was really good here I would highly recommend this if your looking for somewhere to eat - they also deliver to the hotel and you are welcome to use the dining room to eat. Breakfast was included and hot food is cooked to order. We both orders a cooked breakfast which we really enjoyed. A continental breakfast selection is also on offer which you are welcome to help yourself to. This was the first time we had been away from our son for two nights (he’s one) we were really looking forward to a peaceful relaxing two days and this is exactly what we got. Thank you so much Nicki and Paul I’m sorry for the late review! We had the best two nights and we will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. Thanks again.
