The HENRI Hotel is located in the heart of Berlin Charlottenburg, in the middle of the old West, directly on the fashionable Kurfürstendamm. It has always been a melting pot of urban life between Boulevard and Bohémienquartier. Walks with luxury shops and small exclusive boutiques are a perfect symbiosis with restaurants, bars, music clubs and theaters. Famous attractions such as the Kurfürstendamm with its elegant shops or the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church are only a few steps away, Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate are within easy reach.

Very nice "old style" hotel, great location

My wife already stayed here several times during her trips to Berlin so it was obvious we would stay again. And have to say I fully understand why she loves this hotel. It is located in a nice and reasonably quiet street with bars and restaurants and at the end of the street the Kurfurstendamm awaits you. Although the smaller streets in the area are basically nicer to walk and also have quite a few restaurants and bars. The hotel is located in a nice older building and also the inside is " old style", as if you are stepping back into the past. Very nice and warm interior and atmosphere. Rooms may not be too big but have everything one needs, a good bed, shower, toilet, coffee (Illy)/tea making equipment, etc.. Everything also looked clean and well maintained. The breakfast has a good variety of food and drinks, The hotel does not serve other meals but there is more than enough choice in the area for a good meal. All staff members were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Both check-in and check-out were swift and well organised. If you travel by car it is best to park in the parking garage which entrance is directly opposite the hotel, please note that the payment machines of the parking only accept cash, no card payment can be made. Parking cost around EUR 15/day. For our next trip to Berlin we will not have to search for another hotel, Henri is our preferred place to stay! RECOMMENDED!

Atmospheric boutique hotel near Kudamm and Zoo

I loved this historic hotel in an old building. It is cosy, nicely decorated and calm. It is well located near Zoo, so there’s a direct S Bahn line from Berlin Tegel near the hotel. Also, with the S-Bahn it’s very easy to move to Alexanderplatz, Nikolaiviertel, Museeinsel etc. The best part of Kudamm is right near the hotel, so there is a walking distance to Kudamm’s stores and KaDeWe. The surroundings are safe and the street is very peaceful. My was spacious with classic, beautiful deco, very much like in the pictures. I very much liked the breakfast as well, with good continental breakfast items served in a ”kitchen”. My only complaint is the the pretty poor soundproofing between , which is usual in the case of historic hotels, but still annoying to hear the neighbor’s tv and conversation through the night when I’d want to go to sleep, and then the cleaning staff vacuuming in the corridor pretty early on a Sunday morning.
Lovely experience in the center of West-Berlin

Old fashioned hotel with a personal touch and excellent breakfast. Rooms are cozy and completely off the style you typically find in larger hotels. Perfect location, easily walk-able from Bahnhof Zoo, but in a quiet street. My second stay here, I will be back.
A charming boutique hotel in a great area.

My wife and I stayed at Henri for a few nights in February. The room was lovely, with high ceilings, a dressing room and nice en-suite, all well furnished and decorated. the room looked on to a quiet courtyard which meant we could open the window without letting in noise. But the best thing about the place was the public area off the reception, and the staff, who were all friendly and helpful. We got into the habit of having a glass of wine downstairs when we came back in at night, and felt as relaxed as if we were sitting in our own house. The other great thing about the hotel is its location; there are 3 Italian restaurants (2 excellent) in the same street, and loads of places in the surrounding steets. The Zoo and its s-bahn and u-ban station is 5 minutes walk away; to say nothing of the 100s of shops within a few minutes' walk, including Bikini mall, which is just fantastic.
