Great Location
Fantastic location, plenty of bars and restaurants, very close to train station and large shopping mall, an ideal base for sightseeing or shopping. Clean, comfortable cheap hotel, friendly staff. Small fridge in the room handy for beers but no tea or coffee making facilities. Great kebabs across the street.
Good breakfast, bad neighborhood
The bed was not clear, the streets at the hotel are full of black drogdealers, you can meet people with open wine bottles even at 8 in the morning. The corridors, the elavator is in very bad condition, everything is worn out. But the staff is really kind, and breakfast was over the expectations, its really good!
Nice Hotel
Nice hotel, clean room, great location, great value for money. In room facilities basic. Was a bit nervous reading some of the other reviews but we had no issues whatsoever. Very convenient for the train and the East side gallery.
Mediocre
Not the best, but not the worst either. Ideal if in search for a hotel spontaneously, mainly because of prices. Pretty central and spacious (albeit outdated) room, with a good-sized bathroom. An allright alternative.
Uncaring hotel in a dangerous area
Our group had dirty rooms (even blood on a shower curtain), doors that didnt lock, and were made to sign a waiver saying the hotel wasnt responsible for stolen items taken out of the room, which was unnerving considering our room didnt even have a safe! In the middle of the night, men were running around the hotel trying to break into the rooms, and the hotel staff only locked the doors AFTER this was reported. We know this isnt the first instance this has happened either. I question why there was no security? This hotel was absolutely disgusting and i have never been so insulted by the lack of safety and unwillingness to take responsibility for the safety of their paying guests.
