We were due to stay end of May, but with the Coronavirus situation, our flights have just been cancelled. I enquired asking what our options were, and had a refund within 5 hours (despite booking a non-changeable room). Fabulous service, and will deffo book with you when we finally do make it to Berlin! Helpful staff and good transport links
Comfortable rooms and good WiFi connection. The breakfast was really tasty and the staff were so friendly and helpful - on hand to give advice, book taxis and keep our baggage safe so we could explore Berlin before our late flight. Thank you!
Easy access to train station
We spent 4 nights here in late January with friends to see the sights of Berlin. The area around it is currently under redevelopment and some areas are rather noisy and not so pleasing g to the eye! However the hotel is quiet with most rooms facing towards a large courtyard. I am sure the area will look much different in a year or so. Good value hotel with large clean rooms and simple decoration but lots of storage. Fridge and safe in the room. As previously mentioned in reviews the en-suite is open to the bedroom. The toilet has a door but the shower is a Perspex round cubicle so you are one view’ to your room mate! We had room only but tried the breakfast on 2 occasions for a little under 15.00 euros each. Lots of options of hot and cold food and a calm atmosphere in the dining room made it a positive experience. Very professional staff on the dining room and the offer of a pot if filter coffee made a pleasant change from machine coffee. Would be happy to return.
Good value for money, easy location to get to.
A good experience on the whole and a pleasant stay at the hotel. We were happy with the big size of the room and the breakfast was definitely up to standards. We found the room to be slightly dark and the pillows were disappointing, definitely not comfortable enough. Besides that everything else was fine.
Pleasant stay
Before NYE we went for three days to Berlin, and we found this hotel which had good rates and an affordable parking lot fee per night. The hotel is located a bit in a sketchy area, with rough sleepers under a nearby bridge, so in the evening we did not love walking by, and it is about a 10-min walk from alexanderplatz. The room was extremely large, with two twin beds, a shower, a TV and an armchair. Bed was way too soft and had no support, and upon entering the toilet there was a strong pee stench which never vanished during our stay. Except for these issues, the hotel was exceptionally quiet and I often wondered if there were other visitors or not. For the price we paid it was all in all good value and worth it, not magnificent but did its job. My rating is 3.5/5.
