With standard room it’s like a B&B

Good location near the train station for S and U. A block away from PCR testing center for us going back on international flight.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
OK. Their standard rooms are tiny. If you plan to stay in your room for any extended time, aside from showering and sleeping, upgrade to a bigger room.
There is no place to put ur suitcase, no luggage rack (we put ours on the small wooden table) but come to think of it, no place to put the rack anyways.
Next to no closet space **** note to management::: pls put in some more hooks so we can at least hand our cloths on the hooks since closet space is tiny **** (picture posted).
Bring your own shampoo and conditioner because they have this gel that is for all uses (hair face and body).
Bring ur own sponge/washcloth as there is nothing to use, besides you hands, to wash urself with this “all in one” gel.
Hotel comes w two towels for hand and two for body.
There is no laundry bag, what to do w dirty clothes? Must bring your own laundry bag.
No other shower or bathroom amenities so bring your own Qtip, cotton, shower cap or anything else u need.
Most important thing that was BAD was the pillows. Worse pillows ever!!! Lumpy and very uncomfortable. Had a hard time sleeping.
They did have kettle w instant coffee, tea, coco and sugar.
One bottle of water w two glasses. But one can drink tap water here. So that was enough and there is some free water in Tetra Pak in lobby too.
Rooms have A/C so very helpful in July (although the weather was surprisingly chilly 15C/59F ).
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs. Boiled eggs, cold cuts, packed jams, variety of breads, fresh fruits in a basket, juices, yogurts, coffee and teas.
Last but certainly not the least, the internet connection ( free WiFi) was not stable.
Overall, with Standard size room and breakfast, it was more of a B&B for us than a hotel.
P. S. Restaurants in the area by the water were expensive as they cater to tourists. There are 2 very good Doner kebab shops by the S train station. A must try as Berlin is famous for their Doner kebabs.

Had a good weekend in Berlin. Very quiet, really close to the freidrichstrasse sbahn station so half an hour from the airport now brandenburg. Breakfast was pretty good though no friddor grilled bacon. Staff were very helpful room was good. Cant fault it. Would return. Close to friedrichstrasse boulevard and berlin republik restaurants, waterfront and a shortish walk to unter den linden.

Clean Hotel, excellent location

I stayed there during my solo trip to Berlin (7th August 2020- 10th August 2020) and I must say the location of this Hotel is excellent. I had a comfortable room (124) even though the view was nothing. However, I wasn’t going to spend a lot of time in the Hotel, hence I did not ask for a higher floor room. The rooms had AC, which is much needed in the heatwave. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants around and a lot of places are just walking distance from the hotel. Friedrichstraße Bahnhof is also extremely nearby.
On the downside, I feel some of the staff could have been a bit more warm and I would have loved a bit more options in the breakfast section. No big complains, my stay there was really comfortable and nice. If I visit again, I might stay there again.
Nice hotel, excellent location!

I stayed at Leonardo Hotel, Berline (Mitte) for 3 nights over Easter in 2019. It is a well-maintained, cosy, hotel in the heart of Berlin. The closest train station is about 5-6 min on foot and several train lines to different parts of Berlin. The museum quarter and several other sites (Bradenburg Tor, etc) can be easily accessed walking. The room is small and neat. The breakfast buffet has lots of varieties however I am a vegan and had requested the hotel to provide a vegan hot breakfast almost 3 weeks ago which they did not honor. In any case, I did manage to find stuff to eat. Given the location and cleanliness of the hotel, I will definitely stay here again!!
