Unsafe place

Reviewed 13 february, 2022

As a woman travelling alone my main concern is safety at night. This hotel has old worn furniture, dirty carpets, non working TV's and rusted bath tubs, but honestly I am never in so I don't really care as the position was favorable for my business trip. SAFETY IS A BIG CONCERN in this hotel. ALL the staff leaves at 8 pm, leaving the hotel completely unguarded all night. In addition, the front door does not lock by itself, the client needs to turn around and manually close it, well you know how many people don't do it right ? This morning I got up for my meeting and there was a homeless man in the lobby. During the night someone tried to violently open my door, I yelled at them and luckily they left. Now there is yelling in the hallway, people knocking on doors and running in the hallway. It should not be allowed that people run a hotel like this. You purchase a room with the expectation of safety, which here is not guaranteed, If you are a woman travelling alone stay away from this place.

Not worth the low price

Reviewed 31 january, 2022

Do not go here. It may be cheap financially but that’s exactly what you’re going to get. It’s so cheap it’s unsafe and unsanitary. There were stains on our pillows and sheets, odors leaking from the toilet bowl cover that didn’t fit, numerous missing lights, rust in the tub and on the light switch which could lead to infection and electrocution, broken furniture, and so on. On top of all this, the hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. When asked to speak with a manager, there was “never” one available which seemed like an easy out for how often I’m sure they get these complaints. Please if you are going to Beverly Hills, actually experience the beauty of it and stay somewhere else.

this place is super vintage antique place, I like it a lot, its a break from Marriott, Sheraton and Hilton, very more personal place. Great atmosphere, lady check me in was very nice and cute. Internet is great, nearby a lot of places to see. Reminds me of lodging in Slovenia and Germany but LA.

IF YOU HAVE BUSINESS.......

Reviewed 24 december, 2020

I spent 2 nights here in December. Great spot if you have business in Beverly Hills. You can walk to any place in triangle. No frills spot. Up charge for extra towels. $50 late fee for checkout. Light on the hot water & any creature comforts. Communal fridge. So, so very convenient.

Can't get closer to Rodeo Drive than this on a budget!

Reviewed 2 march, 2020

To be fair, this is a two-star hotel. What they lack in facilities and comfort, makes up for helpful (night) staff and most importantly, location! Right around the corner from Rodeo Drive and across the road from the Police Station. Be aware: there is only a basin in some rooms and it can get quite cold, so ask for a second blanket! Also - no elevator so if you have a big bag, you may struggle to get up the stairs. Also - I wouldn't rely on basic necessities like coffee...just go outside and buy some
