Disappointed
Had stayed here a few years ago and really liked the place . Not so much this time . It is starting to show some wear . The bed was not very comfortable and the temp in the room all night long was very cold or really hot . Was back in town the ne t weekend and stayed at the Marriott . Was also surprised at the number of people waiting for breakfast or in the lobby with no mask . Did not make me feel Covid safe
Nice stay but.....
We love our Hampton Inns. As Diamond Members, we have stayed in a LOT of them. However, because of Covid we were moved to the next door Hilton Garden Inn. We understand those things and we know that these are 'different' times. However, we had 2 rooms (which was our original reservation) and 7 of us in those 2 rooms. Our breakfast has 2 rotten apples in the bag. I would have thought that maybe the bags would have been checked a little more closely, especially with fresh fruit. Don't know how long they had been in the bags. One of the bags had no granola bar. We didn't ask for another one because we were already having to ask for fruit that was not rotten. I will say that our rooms were very accommodating. For that we were grateful. The gals at the front desk were nice enough. If it had not been for the breakfast 'issues' we felt we could have given this location a 5.
Anniversary treat
I was looking for the perfect hotel for a anniversary trip to romantic Corning NY. This hotel was close enough and did not disappoint. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a whirlpool tub. Despite travelling during COVID-19, we were put at ease by the dedication of the staff to adherence and enforcement of state guidelines, Now if only we could get the guests in the room next door to be quiet and not sleep with the TV blaring....but then again nothing can be perfect even in paradise
Could't have been any better!
Returned back to town due to an unfortunate situation. This place is ALWAYS my go to when I come to visit the area! The staff is top notch, really exhibiting the best hospitality possible. As a gold member, I received an awesome upgrade at check in! Although every staff member that I come in contact with is great, I would like to send a big thank you to Sean, Laurie, Anna, and Brenda! Drew was so patient and accommodating, as we had younger children in our party. He took great care of them! They loved their seafood. Every night and morning we were there we dined in the restaurant and they had a lovely space to accommodate our extended family! You all were amazing, and my family and I are so appreciative. It really means a lot! Please keep up the amazing work!! WONDERFUL TEAM!!
A warm Welcome on a cold night
This HGI is typical for the quality expected. Excellent staff, great Bar scene, clean room and confortable beds. Breafast and dinnner were excellent. Better than most HGI I have stayed in. Excellent value.
