It's a Holiday Inn. It's a fine hotel.

I stayed here for one night, got in around 11pm and left around 11am. I didn't use the pool or get breakfast in the morning. I just showered and slept. The lighting in the bathroom is awful, just one light on the mirror; in the shower with the curtain pulled, you can barely see your whole glory. The comforters had some spots on them, but I convinced myself that they were still washed and didn't stress too much about it. Some people screaming at 4:30 AM woke me up, but I couldn't tell if they were in the hotel or outside. The minifridge in the room was great. I managed to book the room for half off the going rate because of a deal, maybe if I paid full price I'd be more critical. Tripadvisor currently says staff and guests are required to wear masks, but staff wasn't wearing masks at all, and I saw maybe four other guests wearing masks. There were no plexiglass dividers at the counter, either. I know a lot of people are "over" the pandemic, but the pandemic isn't over us and a few simple things like wearing a mask and having a divider are welcome things to tell us the hotel cares about the safety of their guests and employees.
Worst Hotel Ever

Skip this place. Don’t even give it a second thought. The golf course next door owned by the college is a smoke screen. No country-club environment here. Front entrance is police taped for significant and dangerous damage to the structure. Rooms are filthy and gross. Hair and mold in the bathrooms around the toilet and shower. Very outdated furnishings. We were so underwhelmed by our stay we skipped out of eating at the main floor restaurant — can you imagine how horrible the kitchen must be??
Do Not Stay Here!

We traveled for a hockey weekend. I'll start with the good first. The front desk staff were super friendly and the beds were comfortable. Now the bad. The hotel was filthy! It's old and that's no problem, but the carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the hotel opened. Additionally, every common area needed to be vacuumed and in fact, the entire weekend I didn't see anyone vacuuming anywhere including rooms. The shower curtain smelled like a dirty mop. In the evening there was a mouse running around the lobby. We went to the restaurant one morning for breakfast and the waitress was very rude and acted like she was upset we were even there. I've stayed in many hotels and will never stay at this one again. Definitely one of the worst hotels I've stayed in if not the worst.

I travel a lot for work so I am in hotels 2-3 times a week. This property was decent, but does not seem to be upgraded lately. The hotel bedroom seemed a little dated with older carpeting and curtains, but the bathroom seems like it has been updated within the last year. Limited electric outlets (only 1 in bathroom) and no USB ports. Has a restaurant with good drink prices, but typical bar food. Checking in process took longer than normal here.
Not serious about cleanliness in the age of Covid

This place has signs all over the interior and exterior talking about how clean and safe it is. Okay, then why did both housekeepers cleaning our 4th floor when we walked in not have masks on? They didn’t even possess masks, so it’s not like they forgot to pull them up. My wife made a comment to one of them and was ignored. We then told the lady at the front desk and she replied, “Oh, I’m not sure what the policy is for housekeeping and masks. They may not have to wear them.” It’s a state mandate. Even if it weren’t, housekeepers should not be cleaning rooms without them. The whole place is very dated, run down, and should be skipped. I’m saying this as an Elite Holiday Inn member.
