Loved the room
Reviewed 23 november, 2021
We were shocked to see that the rooms have high ceilings. This was our favorite feature. Good size room, the staff is friendly and they had decent breakfast options. We used our membership points to book this room but the price was still reasonable being that we stayed on a Friday.

I went here with my wife. We stayed for a weekend of gambling. When we left the room we even had the courtesy to get garbage and towels together leaving room pretty clean. They charged my card an extra $250 leaving for “smoking.” No one smoked in our room.. if I wanted a smoking room I would have gotten just that. BS.
Gone to the Dogs

I stayed because the hotel allowed dogs. They were very accommodating and the hotel had a dedicated pet relief area complete with bags. This made it easy to ensure there were no pet accidents in the guestroom. Unfortunately, many guests didn't use the bags so the area got very soiled and smelly. I would suggest the hotel deploy someone with a pooper scooper once a day to keep the area tidy. The room was smaller than average but clean. There was a problem getting clean towels and I ran out of toilet paper the first day. But given the circumstances, with dozens of "refugees" from New Orleans, displaced because of Hurricane Ida, I think the hotel did a good job.
Love this place!

Needs updating in service and outside appearance. Cleaning staff very nice. Nice not to have carpets in rooms. Beds were comfortable. Landscaping upkeep and cleaning much to be desired. Limited breakfast items, nothing hot, grab and go your food but no trays are available and hours could be expanded to 9:30am and 10:00am. Put some social distanced tables/chairs back. I realize it is all about COVID but some hotels are offering more for breakfast! I sincerely believe some hotels are using COVID as an excuse to limit their services.
