Went for a short weekend getaway. This hotel was rated a 4/5...not exactly who came up with that. More like a 2/5. And only a 2 because of two things: the location and the breakfast dining area. Very outdated building. Walls paper thin...heard our neighbors day and night as if they were in our room with us. No room cleaning service. We had to carry our wet, dirty towels to the main office lobby and give them to the clerk in exchange for clean towels...so this makes for a VERY unsanitary lobby...which by the way was during Covid. Room was dirty. The only good things were the location (right across from the beach) and the lady keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked did a great job (we made sure to tip her). Will never stay here again. And would definitely not recommend if you are a single female to stay here. If you do, make sure it's to the front of the property where it's probably safer.

We made our reservation two weeks ahead of our arrival had to cancel and rebook a week ahead due to contract issues and they charged us even more than the first reservation for the same size room and length of stay. Patiently we waited, exhausted and tired from our previous ordeal on the coast we were looking for a quite place to lay our head, have a swim and eat our continental breakfast. After finally asking if they could just give us a room ( 10 min later) we were given our room passes. Upon arriving at the back side of the property we noticed dumpster divers or homeless individuals. Entering we found a very hard bed , very uncomfortable. And pillows worse than the airline. The price is no match for the quality of the room. Sand was in the sheets and they also told us that since we were only staying 3 days that they would not service the room unless you stay more than three days. WHAT??? No wonder there was sand in the sheets. I give them a single STAR ...ONE STAR only because at least they were at the location they were supposed to be. There was a building there. Needless to say we checked out the next morning. It was three days before we received a credit into our account. I say keep looking and pay a little more down the street. We chose it because it was close to where we needed to be. Next time I’ll drive further.

Amazing staff. Polite and friendly. The room was clean. The pool is nice. Quick walk to beach (just across the road). Beautiful view. Waffle House next door. Conveniently located. The front desk staff is knowledgeable about the area and can give great ideas for things to do or places to eat. Will definitely stay again next time we come to town.
Back After 42 Years

My return to 2414 Beach Blvd after 42 years..this is how it went. In 1979 I came here with my parents for a vacation. Second one actually, first one was in 1971. In 1979 I was 19 years old. For some reason I’ve wanted to visit Biloxi ever since, but never got around to it. I finally did. Although it’s currently a Quality Inn, decades ago it was the Admiral Benbow Inn. Upon my arrival last week I was warmly greeted by Daphne and Pearl. I told them of my history with the location and they could not have been more interested, accommodating and enthusiastic with my return. Obviously neither was around the last time, but they made me feel like a welcomed old friend. Here’s is an honest appraisal of the hotel as it exists today. It is an old property, although rebuilt a couple of times, but still in it’s original layout. It’s a beachfront property so expect a little wear and tear. The refrigerator, microwave, air conditioner all worked great. When I discovered the hairdryer didn’t, Pearl personally replaced it within the hour. And regarding water pressure issues noted by previous reviewers, I didn’t notice any problem. In all honesty, there’s nothing about this property that would stop me from coming back again. If the Southern Hospitality I encountered here last week is indicative of the employees mission, this place will be here another four decades. I’m coming back and I’m not waiting four decades to do so.

Overall for an older hotel it has been well maintained, served a great breakfast. Great location, right across Biloxi beach with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. Room was overall clean, water pressure in the shower could use some help. Did have to kill quite a few fruit flies in our as well.
