Everything you need!
Just got home from a one night stay. Two of us in a double & two in a twin room. Can’t fault the place. Yes it’s very quirky and different but it has everything you need. A warm comfy bed. Lovely & clean. Towels provided. Tea & coffee facilities (plus biscuits 😍) We were greeted by Robert who was lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Location was ideal and right near the beach. A nice walk along the front to shops, restaurants etc Parking is probably the only little negative as it’s street parking and we couldn’t find a space close by but that’s all.
new ownership- ignore old reviews!!!!!
the new owner was so lovely and welcoming, we had plenty of mini freebies in our room- more than we have got elsewhere (and we travel a lot!). Wonderful service and a nice and comfortable quiet room. Highly recommend!!
Blackpool's 1st D&D Hotel? New hotel, new management - quite literally another world!
Gather round weary travellers, and listen close, while I tell ye the tale of the Leofric Legends Hotel. Once upon a time it was regraded as a filthy, downtrodden place, frequented only by ne'er-do-wells and nefarious types. But then a noble squire, Sir Robert of Kirkland-Hay, happened upon the establishment. As he cast his stern gaze around the rooms, an eerie hush descended. After what seemed like an eternity, Sir Robert cleared his throat, and speaking forbidden words of power, brought forth a blazing torch, whose light scoured the building of the taint of foulness. Having cleansed the land, Sir Robert set about creating what might have been the first board game/roleplay hotel in all of Blackpool, if not the country, or indeed the world! He created a cool tavern environment in the basement, and many well-appointed rooms, each with en-suite and tea-making facilities for the adventurer in need of soft bunk for the night. Truly, this hotel is now one of a kind, and I heartily recommend anyone looking for a weekend away with a difference to consider booking a room at the Leofric Legends hotel. You will be totally transported to another world of adventure, magic, and convenient takeaway just down the street :-)
I will never stay here again! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
Horrible B n B. Unwelcoming, cold, dirty, no hot water, extremely rude (especially the man!!!) and unhelpful staff. Came for a weekend away with my little boy, I stated his age and asked for a double bed. I was put on the first floor, and given a twin room and was told to 'push the beds together' which was great.. except there was a huge gap inbetween the beds meaning we both had to sleep in one single bed! The room was freezing too - I put the radiator on as advised but was still freezing. The staff, an older couple were SO rude. I told them I was vegetarian the day before and they rolled their eyes at me as they made breakfast. As if I was a huge inconvenience the whole time. It was completely inconvenient to be on the first floor too with no lift, meaning i had to lug myself, my baby, and all our bags upstairs alone while they just watched me struggle. Same with the way down too. I will never ever ever stay at this b n b again. Very overpriced for what it was. Wish I'd stayed in a travel lodge instead. Never again!
Very Good Value For Money
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Situated between central pier and South pier, the hotel is only 50 yards from the sea front. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay again.
