We’ve just returned from the Norwood after a Northern soul and Motown weekend and I have to say it is the best Blackpool B&B we have ever stayed in. Our room was very well equipped, it even had a small fridge and safe, which you don’t find in many places ! Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean, a very comfortable bed and the breakfast was superb with a great choice of menu. Geoff and Lorraine are great hosts. We will definitely return and would highly recommend it.

The Norwood is the best B&B ive ever stayed at. It's immaculate but the hospitality is second to none, very caring helpful people.. I was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble The breakfast is quality. The selection of cereals, starters, continual coffee/tea etc 👌
Great stay will return

We have stayed in many b&b’s in Blackpool over the years and can see why The Norwood is rated so high. After arriving late on Friday evening. We were greeted my Jeff who was very attentive when booking us in. Jeff showed us up to our room where he explained all the different light switches and TV etc also demonstrated all the locks including outer doors. We had a family room (room 4) which sleeps up to 5 with a double bed in the main room and a bunk bed plus single in the other room. Great view of the Tower. The room was spacious with plenty of room for all our luggage, the wardrobe area had lots of hangers. We had a iron and ironing board and also a hairdryer on the dressing table. We were provided with lots of complimentary tea/coffee/hot choc etc and the kids were very pleased with their sweets and fruit shoots. There is TV’s in both bedrooms. The bar/lounge area was very pleasant with a decent choice of drinks. Breakfast was very tasty. A good selection of hot and cold options. Something for everyone. Parking unfortunately is not available at the b&b unless your lucky to bag a spot outside on the road, you need to park in the main carpark just down the road. This is not really an issue as it’s very close and we managed to stop outside the b&b long enough to load and unload our luggage. Location is great especially if you want to be central and right by the tower. Great hospital and great location. We highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Our fourth stay in the last 2 years and again a lovely trip away. A lovely hotel in a perfect position for all the main activities. Geoff and Lorraine always go that one step further than other hotels with lots of little touches in the room that other hotels don’t do. Little sweets, coffee selection, bottled water etc. Will be back next year for sure.
Amazing experience from beginning to end

If you are looking for a family friendly hotel that caters for larger families, serves a lovely breakfast, is central to all amenities, is immaculately clean and has lovely owners then no need to look any further then The Norwood. We were welcomed in after a long journey. Geoff and Lorraine are the most lovely people and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have some lovely touches such as sweets and drinks for the children, marshmallows to go with the hot chocolate, a small fridge and so much more. We stayed in the family room which consisted of one main room with a double bed and en suite bathroom and then next door a room with bunk bed, a single bed and a travel cot. Perfect for what we needed. We could see the Blackpool Tower from our room and the beautiful coloured lights in the evening. The breakfast in the morning was stunning and set you up for the day. Coral island at the bottem of the road and a two minute walk to the shopping centre. What more could you ask for. We will be back to this hotel next year as we loved it so much. Thank you Geoff and Lorraine x
