This place is outdated, dirty, and the hallways and rooms smell awful. I’m fact, the room smelled like mold and sex. The area around t here pool had empty cans, booze bottles, and pizza boxes from the night before everywhere…..and it was almost noon. The staff at the desk were friendly, that’s about all I can say.

Quick weekend visit stay

Last time I visited this hotel was almost 5 years ago on a solo trip. This time my husband booked the same property not knowing I had stayed here before. This hotel was the perfect location for our weekend plans, close to the mall not too far from downtown or some other locations we were going to check out in the southern Minneapolis metro area. Being a weekend, traffic from the location to the mall or downtown wasn’t bad. The rooms could use an update. I remember last time I was here they were working on remodeling, doesn’t look like the rooms have been updated that significantly. Our bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and left some gross debris whenever your tried to use it. I have a weak stomach so I found myself pretty grossed out. Additionally we had a room window facing the indoor pool. Not sure what pool hours are but screaming children kept me from falling asleep until after 11:30. Good price for the room and Green Mill on property was great, however still not a favorite hotel to stay at in the area.

Got to the desk to check in and they had over booked so we were moved to a different location. We specifically picked that one because of the location. No warning was given. First impression was very run down and I am actually glad we did not stay there.

Comfortable Holiday Inn

For a Holiday Inn, I found this property to feel more up to date than most. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with exceptionally soft bed linens and surprisingly new feeling towels. Only downside is the location is mostly business park/industrial, with the attached Green Mill being the only nearby food option.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Only issue hard to find parking. Staff helped and we were fine. Good breakfast with staff clean friendly tables and talking warmly to folks. Nice front desk staff. Maids were helpful and polite. Great deal in Canadian dollars on Expedia
