More about the hotel
Above and beyond
I recently stayed at this hotel. Whilst there we were met by kindness and professionalism by all the staff. All the main things you want from a hotel like location, cleanliness and amenities were all great. But the part that really made it stand out was the staff. Always happy to help and a much needed boost in these current times. The general manager, Pratik, was particularly helpful. He went above and beyond his duties as a manager and did me a personal favour at his own expense which he refused to be reimbursed for. It isnt often these days to see such altruism. Very much adds a human touch which I greatly appreciate. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if I happened to be in Blythe. Thank you.
Ok for one night
Spent one night on the road. Reasonably quiet location. The room was spacious but looked dated and gloomy. Old furniture and tired-looking carpet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amenities included coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The fridge was very old and the temperature could not be adjusted. The bathroom was clean but also dated, with dark stains in the corners. Plenty of fresh towels. Shower with good water pressure. Standard toiletries. Good wifi. Convenient parking. Grab-and-go breakfast box. At check out on 12/27/2020 the front desk employee was distinctly unfriendly and initially refused to give me a receipt, claiming that I should get it through Booking.com. She eventually relented after I pointed out that the payment had been taken directly by the hotel.
Pool and Spa closed (January 9, 2020)
Booked for the spa but it was closed. Average fully equipped (a/c, free internet, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV). An OK place but book for price and location right off the freeway. Slim pickings for restaurants or anything else in Blythe. Buy your gas in Arizona to save a buck a gallon..
Good stop over in Blythe
Reception was smoothest ever and staff friendly enough. The towels are a bit thin but clean and enough for our family. The beds were clean and comfy with good pillows. The area is quiet so good sleeping
Needs Attention
Front desk lady was business like, but not looking to make a friend. The room was well appointed, but the carpet was a bit in need of a shampoo, as was the easy chair. The pool & hot tub were still out of service (maybe just don't advertise you have these until they are working?). The bathroom was clean, towels were fresh & well stocked. Had a surprise in the evening when I decided to brew a coffee in room. Lifted the lid and found 2 old coffee sachets in the coffee maker. Tried rinsing it, but it hadn't been cleaned for a while, so I gave up and went to the front desk for coffee. Other than that, our stay was ok.
