Mold in the room!!
Reviewed 1 december, 2021
Me and my sister stayed at Boca Plaza for 1 week (Room 229 in the north building). The room has a nice size and we were quite happy with the location. The service, however, was not very good. We were told in advance that the room wouldn’t be cleaned daily, which was fine. But when we ran out of toilet paper after only 1 day, we would expect to get more (at least after asking), but no we had to buy this ourselves. It’s just the fact that we payed for a hotel, so we expected better service. The absolute worst was that it was mold in our room!!! We believed it smelled bad when we first came there, but it was first when we came to Norway we realized how bad this smell actually was. After two weeks, our clothes and articles still smell really bad. It’s a very strong smell of mold, which is very disgusting to think about. After two washes, the smell is still there…. The fact that we lived in a room with mold for one week, is actually not okay… This is not what we paid for! And we are actually very disappointed. All our articles and clothes might be ruined too…..

Soon as I walked into the room I turn right back out. The smell and molds is disgusting, they did not do a good job cleaning and the room is nothing like the pictures I have seen on their website. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Spacious hotel rooms, all the basics, nice service.

This is a nice hotel for people looking for some space. Clean, spacious rooms, take COVID seriously, good breakfast and happy hour, a nice pool space and gym. One great feature is the entire interior of the hotel is open to the outdoors, so it lends a great feeling of safety during COVID.
Contactless & Nasty Smelly Motel
Reviewed 1 february, 2021
RCI scheduled this 2 night stay in between our resort travel dates. This place is a fire hazard! One Extension cord was used for 3 appliances plugged in for the refrigerator microwave & coffeemaker. Wiring not behind walls drooping on the floor. Very nasty smell like cat urine in the room & beds horrible. Air Conditioner does not work. You can call them & leave a message but no one returns your call. They have tried to renovate it but cut too many corners for safety. The full size very uncomfortable beds is not what we thought we was getting. They have a system for no contact by email to check in. Very difficult to use. I had to find a person that had herself locked in a room behind the front desk to come out to help me. I showed her that I wasn't receiving her emails to check in without any contact personally with the motel. They also have a system to enter the rooms without plastic cards. It's a code like on a lock box. They email you that you enter. They don't work either. We tried to call the front desk & had to leave a msg with no return phone call. So we finally found a housekeeper to help us. The doors must have 5-6 holes in them from all the previous locks they've had on them. I went on TripAdvisor to look at the reviews & they are the same as mine was going to be. The rooms have attempted to be restored but they are a complete deception.
Not the best

Woman at the front desk was very helpful as well as friendly. Room was a little outdated. Had to forcibly close the door to make it shut properly or it would reopen. The mattress on the bed was completely blown out and needed replacing. Balcony was mostly blocked by a palm tree so all the heat output from the A/C unit was trapped there. Extremely poor lighting; only supplemental lamps in the bedroom, no overhead. The only elevator broke down mid-stay, forcing myself to make the journey up to the 3rd floor on foot. There was an outdoor pool with a bar, if you lose the laminated pool card they give you at check-in, you will he charged $15. Restaurant on-site also but I think it may have been closed due to Covid. Free parking. Would find a better property for the money.
