Jasmin Beach Hotel Gumbet Stay away at all cost 775438520 Chose this hotel after reading such good reviews however all I can say is that these people must have stayed previously in some bad hotels if they rate this hotel !! On arrival at 11pm our party of 4 were sent to our rooms on different sides of the pool. My room 813 was vile , dark depressing dingy, dated & lacked a good clean like something from the 60’s in contrast my daughters room 134 was bright modern & spacious . I asked and we were moved straight away to room 343 unfortunately due to being tired and just wanting to get to bed I didn’t check the balcony area so the following morning was shocked to see our view was directly and I mean 2 feet Away from the ala carte restaurant , they could have walked straight into our room 😳 all that stopped them was 3 dead conifers. Better than the room next door though there view was 2 massive generators !! Food disgusting , breakfast eggs, beans, sausage & a tomato if u were lucky or fruit/ yogurt Lunch daily chick nuggets, onion rings chick burger or burger & chips , salad , soup, desserts were minimal & went quickly.cutlery was always hard to find and water was like gold dust in small cartons which had a few mouthfuls ( weird ). Evening meals were poor and repetitious hence to say we ate out every day And glad we did found some great places to eat with great variety , quality and very cheap So wouldn’t go all inclusive waste of money at this hotel . The management( except for Ann) were very unhelpful when a incident arose with a vile group of holidaymakers , the best the management could advise was that we should Stay in our room for our own safety As they couldn’t do anything unless physical blows were exchanged ( one of our party was 73 ) !! So my advise would be avoid this hotel there are so much better out there , don’t be drawn in by the positive reviews Like we were
39th wedding celebration
Second time at this Hotel. What can I say? Love this place, the rooms, pool, food, ambience, hospitality, staff, photographer, concierge, everything. Anne the guest relations is so kind and helpful. Feels like nothing is too much for these people. The bar and restaurant staff even learn your name and what drinks you enjoy, on the first day. Covid here was not a problem, everything was followed to the letter. Social distance, food service, and cleaning. Felt safe always. The concierge even sent wine and fruit to our room to celebrate our anniversary. He is a lovely man, sells great day trips, and he cares. Great for family holidays.
Jasmine Beach Hotel - AMAZING
This was our second visit to this hotel.. we were a bit worried it wouldn’t be as good as last year but how we were wrong! It was amazing.. better than last year. Casper and Antaka made the holiday amazing and made us feel like family, so much fun and absolutely amazing with our little girl. Their entertainment never disappointed us and they always made so much effort. Ferhad the bar man was great and made us feel so welcome! The photo man was the same as last year and of course he didn’t disappoint. He’s so friendly and his photos are incredible. The spa man was also the same as last year and did an amazing job, well worth the money! Ramazan worked so hard around the pool and always had a smile on his face. And of course, Ann the guest relations makes your holiday 100 times better for always looking out for you and caring. We will 100% be there again next year, we miss everyone so much! Grease not turkey.
We visited the Jasmin beach towards the end of the season, it attempted to be a covid safe environment however it struggled. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and had it not been for the food even better. The positives, Staff couldn't do enough to help you especially Ferhat main pool bar and cahit on panorama bar, they were fantastic at their jobs, hard working and tried to make the guest stay a fun one. The bedrooms were quite modern, just what you would expect, good air con, free safe and comfy beds. Only concern was the shower can flood the whole bathroom. There was 3 pools, 2 fairly quiet and 1 really busy loud pool, but never failed to get a sunbed. The location was perfect it is situated on the beach and its ideal for walking into gumbet in 5 min and only 25 lire to bodrum would advise to eat out as its cheap enough 25lire for full English all day most expensive meal is a 20oz steak for only 9.50pp. There is also a market on Tuesdays at the bus depot but you can get same stuff everywhere. The Negatives... the room was never "cleaned" until the 13th day, only towels replaced daily, no fresh bed linen for whole of 2 weeks bathroom never cleaned again until the day before we were due to go home. Entertainment.... or lack of. After speaking to other guests it was established that because of COVID police had made hotels unable to bring in external acts. However having karaoke and a disco every night is not entertainment, also in the day the same entertainment over and over again by the busy pool, however guests were not made aware of the entertainment if you was at any of the other 2 pools. Now the food this is what majorly impacted our holiday, both me and my partner were ill for the whole of the second week, awful selection chicken, Turkey and chips every meal, every dish you could see the grease and fat in the sauces, meal times half 7 for tea and then there's masses of ques until 8pm. A la Carte - beef and yoghurt on a plate for a main no thanks or 4 small pieces of sea bass not much point eating whats served in the main restaurant but "a la carte" Despite this the hotel you get what you pay for its quite a nice hotel, however the food massively impacts it. My advice would be to go to this resort but go self catering and eat out.
Fantastic
We have just returned from jasmin beach hotel and cannot say thanku enough to all the staff from reception to pool area attendants to the chefs, the waiters ,the bar staff for making our holiday fantastic and enjoyable. Sometimes you read reviews on food etc and i really have to wonder what these people eat at home when they moan about choice etc. Everyday the food was different and fresh .With a limited service due to covid restrictions there was so much variety of salad and hot food. The rooms were clean and new towels everyday and pool area was clean and safe for kids . There is a guy who works up around pool area whom never could do enough for u . Putting your bed out ,cleaning your bin, making sure u was ok. Such a really nice guy .Bar staff always happy to see u and kitchen staff always happy to see u also. Reception staff would do thier best to help out regardless of what time of morning it was and would like to say a special thanku to them for that . The location was a short walk to a lovely bay where the water is clean and calm .Some fantastic restaurants and bars along the beach front which are not too busy for October. All in all i would recommend this hotel to families and couples alike . Many thanks again and see you next year .
