Un lugar INCREIBLE!
Opinión escrita el 20 de Julio de 2017
Wow!
Fantastic Boutique Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel twice this summer, once for one night and then again a few weeks later for 4 nights. This hotel is in a lovely location perched above the city adjacent to The Marmara Hotel. It is easy to reach by car (slightly more taxing if you are doing this walk up from town!). Parking is free on site.
The welcome is professional and friendly. Staff here seem more than willing to go above and beyond to help the customer. On nights we purchased our own wine they provided glasses, ice bucket and someone opened our wine for us - a great kindness since I am sure they would have preferred we purchased their wine. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, booking meals and taxis etc.
I stayed in two different rooms and both were magnificent. The rooms are spacious, very clean, excellent air on systems, huge and comfortable beds. Mini bar is provided at reasonable prices. Water was provided free of charge on a couple of room clean days but no all (this is a shame as the water is a nice and necessary touch in the Bodrum heat). Minimalistic decoration was completely our style and the views from the rooms are superb. Our second room had its own outdoor terrace space which was a blessing, we could still easily access the pool but it gave us so much more space. Towels are provided for use at the pool.
Turkish breakfast was generously large and excellent quality. Range of bread including brown which as very good and unusual. Menemen was perfect. Small additional charge for fresh orange juice rather than the concentrate variety.
The restaurant is an issue for a hotel of this quality. The evening meal we had on our first night was huge but not really a menu at the standard a hotel like this could provide. A great shame as we would have eaten here every night if the food offer had been more to our tastes. The tables are beside the pool and we had a superb view over Bodrum from our chosen table - on a strange night when a huge thunder storm was coming! Made the sky look amazing.
Suggestion: The Outside terrace that came with our room would benefit from the removal of the broken sculpture and the dirty cushions on the hanging seat. Also better planting in the boxes that separate the terrace from the pool.
Suggestion: Your wine offer is very expensive and limited
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. The room rate is very reasonable for what you get and a few small changes would put this hotel on a par with its elegant neighbour up the hill.
Delightful small hotel with amazing views. Great value for money.

Enjoyed a lovely two night stay here. The room was excellent- large comfy bed, airy and pleasing decor and large bathroom. Eating Turkish breakfast on the terrace around the pool was a real highlight.
It’s about a 30 minute walk into the centre of Bodrum, so perhaps a taxi away for some.
The only negative for us was the south facing setting made it difficult to get shade round the pool.
Would definitely recommend
Highly recommend this gorgeous boutique hotel

We had a wonderful 11 night stay in Regnum.
The rooms were huge - plenty of space for the 2 of us. They were also beautifully decorated and the room was serviced every day.
The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers and had a rainforest type shower.
The breakfast was the same every day and was traditional Turkish style (photos attached). A choice of eggs (Menemen, fried, omelette etc) served alongside various cheeses and meats and bread. I think fresh orange juice costs extra but it was delicious and we had it some mornings.
We actually spent a good amount of time lazing by the pool enjoying the spectacular view over Bodrum, where you can see the castle and down onto the town. Because of this we ate lunch by the pool most days. Lunch was good and we would be happy to recommend the food here. We did not have dinner at the hotel and chose to go down to Bodrum main strip.
While the walk to Bodrum strip is manageable (takes about 20 minutes) there is a very steep hill which is difficult to manage going back. I think we only walked back about twice as the hill was so steep. However we did walk down almost every evening, it is a pleasant walk with a view over the city. Taxis cost 17-20 lira down and back which is very affordable and only takes a few minutes. I would highly recommend getting taxis back up that hill!
For what we paid, it was well worth the cost considering an excellent breakfast is provided, the rooms are huge and that stunning view and infinity pool! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. The only small downside to be aware of is the steep hill which is easily resolved by getting a taxi!
Nice hotel Excellent staff, particularly Murat

I booked the hotel after reading reviews on here. Thankfully i wasn't disappointed as I am quite difficult to impress! The hotel is attractive with nice architecture and interior design. It's also very clean. The view across Bodrum and the bay towards Kos is the fabulous. Breakfast is set with a choice of eggs cooked the way you want & served by the pool if you like. The hotel is quiet with not many guests. Of course with a fantastic view comes a price; the hill! For my family and myself this wasn't an issue because we're all quite fit. The walk to town is easy & pleasant and doesn't take long. The walk back could be a challenge for some once you reach the hill, it's quite short but steep. A taxi from town is only 20TL and there's lots about, a good option especially if you're dressed in your finery for the evening.
The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. I have to shout out a special mention for Murat. I left my diamond wedding ring behind! Murat went to extraordinary lengths to ensure it was returned to the UK. A courier took some organising & Murat kept it save. That kind of service and honesty is what we all hope for but seldom receive, many thanks Murat.
If I was to offer some constructive criticism, it would only be very minor. Our room was very nice but I did notice a towel rail broken & the shaving mirror needed fixing properly to the wall, also the speaker by the pool need remounting. These are very minor, still it's easy maintenance that only takes a few minutes. I've been to much more expensive hotels with bigger issues. The music by the pool is on a loop, every hour you'll hear "let it snow" by Dean Martin, which we found quite amusing!
In short, if you're considering Bodrum then this hotel is probably the best value and location. The big resort directly behind is more expensive, not as intimate & still on the hill. The other resorts I saw are way out of town.
Oh, internet is free.
While you're there take a boat trip, we used Bayside after much research. Moored left of the castle at the far end, has a surf board as a sign. He has 2 boats & will recommend which one depending on the mix of guests. Lunch is pasta and drinks are cheap enough. He's a nice guy and all for around 15 euros!
