Disappointing
The elevator was not working the whole week I was there and yet I, a senior, was given a room on the fourth floor although the hotel had very few guests. So I had to climb narrow, steep stairs carrying my luggage. That was mean. My room had no cabinet, it had exactly two plastic hangers hanging on the bulky crt TV as there was no clothes rack either. There was no showerhead so it is like showering under a faucet and nearly lost a lip gloss down the drain as the wash basin was missing a drain guard. I bought a strainer and left it there for the future guests who can easily lose a piece of jewelry. The hotel was clean but definitely in need of repair and refurbishing. The staff were generally friendly. The breakfast at first had three slices of papaya but no fruits from the second day on. The breakfast consisted of two eggs, a piece of bread, watery yogurt, but good coffee.
"You are paying just for location"
The hotel has excellent location if you are going to Corferias to an event or for business; it is just 2 blocks away, very convenient. The bell boy is very gentle and is always smiling. The service is very regular and the cleaning is poor, the hotel looks very abandoned, in some way careless. They gave us a different room from the one we ask for, even when I call 1 week before to check that everything was ok with the booking. The next day they change us the room. I just recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel near Corferias.
Cheap Doesn't Look Cheap
I stayed in Hotel Ferrovial for four days, during my vacation in Bogota. My experience in this hotel was pleasant and I am satisfied with the customer service I received from the hotel staff. Hotel Ferrovial has wifi, cable, comfy beds, a restaurant, small store, and a 24 hour lobby to assist hotel guests with any immediate needs that may arise. Through my experience, the room was cleaned everyday and breakfast was available every morning. Their breakfast was not the best, but it was good enough for the hotel cost. The staff were quite friendly and they made me feel welcomed during my stay. The only down side is that the hotel is located in Corferias, 20 minutes away from the airport and about 15 minutes away from downtown Bogota. This means taxi trips are somewhat longer, meaning, slightly pricier. Other than that, the hotel is affordable, clean, and has great perks for its price. With this said, I would like to recommend Hotel Ferrovial to anyone looking for a decent place to stay.
Great place!
Loved the days (4days) I stayed there. Staff was nice and really helpful. The rooms are cleans and the breakfast they offer is yum! The price was perfect. Especially if you do it online through trip advisor. I will come back for sure next time I'm in Bogota.

I arrived in Bogota just to go to a rock concert. With my wife, we booked a room in this Hotel in advanced in internet. The room was about right in size, very very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is safe and close to several transport ways. The price is really good and the service is excellent. Is a great choice if you need a good relation between price and quality.
