I rarely write reviews but couldn't stop this one. First, picture of room isn't even remotely the room you're gonna get. We picked a king smoking room. We got a king bed, and I will say it appeared clean and was comfortable. But don't look too closely at the carpet, curtains, walls, tables, chairs, etc. The toilet wobbled horribly, there was an exposed outlet behind the tiny tv and a poster covering the access hole under the sink. The carpet had horrible stains and the curtain actually gave me nightmares. But we were exhausted and the bed seemed very comfortable. We got there after 10pm and there were ZERO parking spots because the SUV in front of our room parked in 2 spaces. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and moved her car for us but that's about the best part of the room. The hotel was FILLED with loud, unruly teenagers skateboarding in the parking lot, screaming and hollering. They started yelling again at around 6am too. It's in the heart of downtown just a few blocks from the hospital so all night we heard sirens on top of the yelling. Needless to say, we were exhausted and slept but got out of there early.
What a dump

Nice sized rooms and decent location are the only things going for this place. Filthy room, never took my socks off. Threadbare towels and outdated electrical outlets were a problem. Shady characters wandering around at all hours of the night make sure you keep your door locked. Stay elsewhere if you can.
You Get What You Pay For and You Can Get Better Elsewhere

This place is bad. I have stayed here for 5 nights and have had hot water for 5 minutes on one day. While I was here during a music festival I think allowing excessive partying at 5AM is a bit excessive. Even without that you have a lot of road noise at this hotel. This morning I ran the water to try and get it hot and it suddenly ran brown for 5 minutes straight. Also with the "do not disturb" sign on my door, the housekeeping staff has entered the room every single day. I can keep going but this should be enough to find alternate lodging in Boise.
Classic motel in good location

The room was fine, with thick walls and cosy, bit oldfashioned interior. It was clean and bathroom was ok. Beds were reasonable. Coffemaker in the room. Wifi could be better though. Location was very good: next to shoppingcenter and walking distance from city center restaurants etc. Read about noise and dangerous situations, but we never experienced anything of the kind.
If drunks and druggies are your thing.....

If drunks and druggies are your thing then you'll love this place. Of course the people in the parking lot exchanging small packages and money might have been doing something other than making drug deals. When I complained to the night manager he told me to call the police. Lots of twentysomethings hanging out on the walkway all night having loud conversations. Unregistered guests sleeping in beater cars in the parking lot. A group of raucous drunks at the end of the hall singing at the top of their lungs at 3:30 in the morning. Complained to the night clerk (who had been sound asleep) who said "I guess I can ask them to quiet down." The partiers quieted down a little but I complained again and the night clerk's attitude was "Oh, well." Complained to the owner the next day who was rude and abusive and hung up on me.
