Wish I could live here; so nice!

This hotel was amazing. We booked this place last minute, so I didn’t get a great price, but good enough. I asked the front desk guy to recommend the room and he suggested the 4th floor is very quiet. He was right. It was very quiet and had a view of the parking lot, which is fine. The lobby was super nice and very updated. It had plenty of places to sit and visit. It had multiple TVs to check the news and weather. They have a breakfast area that is amazing; lots to choose from. Even though I did not eat breakfast there, they had waffle makers, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, and juice. The room was so nice. There was a large couch with a large ottoman and tray to put your belongings on. There was plenty of storage; two closets. There was a tiny sink in the living area to wash your cups and make coffee. The room was very large, the bathroom was large and they provided plenty of clean pillows, towels and washcloths. The bathroom was very nice; updated and clean. The lighting in the room was lovely; very modern. The bed was comfortable and it had very good quality linens. There was a desk to work at and the room décor was really nice; it made me feel at home. I also liked that there were plenty of places to charge our phones and tablets; built right into the lamps! There are a few places nearby to eat at within walking distance. We decided to eat at Shari’s Café and Pies; so yummy! This was such a nice place that I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely come here again.
Save yourself and stay elsewhere

This hotel might have once been great, but no longer. I chose this hotel based on reviews and their commitment to cleanliness. Always a factor of importance for me when choosing a hotel, but especially during this time of Covid. Not just because of Covid itself but also knowing that many places are understaffed. My FIRST room’s bathroom was disgusting. And I’m not just talking of the black hairs that were left probably when someone was doing a very surface level cleaning. But what I’m talking about is the pink mildew that covered everything in the bathroom. They put me in a handicap accessible room which meant there was even more tile than normal. Not only was the ground tile covered in pink mildew but it extended up the walls as well. I called the hotel and explained to them my bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. Their first response was that was the only king room they had. I have a vacation rental. The first response should be an apology and if you don’t have elsewhere, that you’ll come clean it. Nope. I said that’s fine if you only have a Queen. They did so they moved me there. After driving 10 hours I was exhausted and annoyed I’d already unpacked and had to repack and move. This room was hardly better. But since it was my SECOND UNCLEANED room, I assume everywhere was the same. This one also had pink mildew everywhere in the bathroom. There also was still trash in the trash bin. The ice bin still had a bag of melted ice from a previous person. Obviously not inspiring confidence in cleanliness. I called Marriott afterwards to inform them and ask for some kind of compensation because I might of well stayed in a motel 8 for half the price. There response was since it was booked through Expedia they could do nothing. I reached out to Expedia who reached out to the hotel. The hotel said I should have said something so they could have made it right. I obviously did because they changed my room. So not only a gross and I didn’t even mention very outdated and old looking hotel but terrible customer service. Save yourself and stay elsewhere. There are plenty of other options. I frequent boise often and decided to treat myself to a nicer location and nicer hotel. Showing up to a hotel under construction was also a surprise and just one more thing that made this stay terrible.
Typical newer Springhill Suites except shower/tub & cold breakfast

This is a very well run, cookie cutter Springhill Suites property, extremely clean (except for the odd looking carpets in the elevators. Are they stained throughout???? It's so hard to tell because they don't match the much newer hallway carpets. Weird. The only disappointment is that the showers aren't the newer type. They are combo shower/tub with hanging shower curtains. That's so old school, and not in a good way. This particular property has a cold breakfast, and I'm not sure if that's because they're saving money or if it's because of continued Covid regulations in Idaho. All in all a good visit, just not up to the very highest structural expectations of this Titanium member.

This place was super clean, and the staff were very nice, and witnessed them dealing with RUDE guest very professionally. It would be nice if they had a wheelchair ramp on the backside tho. Beds were comfy, and rooms were up to date. And plenty of space

This was my worst hotel experience in years. I checked in at 7pm on June 8 for a 2-night stay. Was told that the hotel was temporarily without water, and led to believe it would be back on shortly. Water was not restored until 1pm the following day, a total of 18 hours without water. The hotel provided water in gallon jugs which were adequate for drinking, brushing teeth, etc, but totally inadequate for flushing the toilet and showering. On the evening of June 9, the front desk clerk clearly told us that the rooms would be comped for the first night because of having no water for 18 hours. (My room was part of a 3 room reservation.) The person whose credit card these rooms were charged has yet to receive a refund after two months of phone calls and correspondence with both the hotel and Marriott. I understand that things can go wrong. The hotel did the right thing by offering to comp the rooms, but then not to follow-through is inexcusable. It really says something about this hotel.
