Perfect choice
Stylish rooms, silent a/c, lovely pool, nice food, cheerful staff and most of the building set back off the street to avoid the noise of the town. Add in a few birds and the occasional monkey, what more could you ask for?! If ever a hotel ticked all the boxes this was the one. Highly recommended.
Modern and clean with all amenities.
Fabulous find in steamy Mompos. You will be revived from the heat as soon as you walk into your air conditioned room. Good bed, lots of storage, great shower. A sofa! Full breakfast, well presented. Ample and attractive outdoor seating areas. Small but clean pool with lots of lounges. Attentive staff. Inside parking. Altogether, a very pleasing stay.

Wonderful place to stay.
I'm on a cultural tour of Colombia's Caribbean coastal regions. Mompox is a charming town on the Rio Magdalena. Hotel La Gloria is an amazing find just a block or so from the historic district and two blocks from the riverfront promenade. New construction that is nonetheless respectful of the local architecture, very stylish, comfortable and sparkling clean. Nice, cooked breakfast included. Excellent value.
