In general deterioration
I stayed at Mara Inn one and a half year ago, and even though the hotel was not great, by that moment, it offered some advantages, mainly the shuttle to the airport. Today the hotel does not provide this service anymore. I arrived late at night and there was a general electricity failure at the area, but the hotel emergency generator did not worked, so everything was dark and non-functional. The rooms are practical but you could see the deterioration on everything. The service was very basic. The food was good, however I do not know if all the restaurants are still working (Pizza place, Sushi Bar and the main restaurant). I think the hotel administration should invest a little bid in order to refurbish the hotel and provide once again the service originally provided.
Good hotel but a bit far from the city center
I stayed at this hotel for about a week. The hotel lobby is very nice and well maintained. Although the rooms are not as nice. There is a good bar downstairs which is called 0' Clock, the restaurant serves food, but I didn't think it was that great. There are a few restaurant options downstairs like Italian, grilled foods and sushi. The wifi works well and the staff is nice. The only part I don't like about this hotel is that it is away from the city center.
Average hotel, excellent location near the airport
The hotel is just in front of the airport, so in this aspect is very well located. It also has three different restaurants (classic, pizza and sushi), so it offers different alternative if your are staying there. The hotel is fine for business trips. The rooms are functional and clean enough. The personal is friendly and the food is good. Sadly the infrastructure is not in the best shape. It require some extra maintenance. In comparison with other alternatives in the city, probably this hotel is one of the best options in cost-value relationship. However do not expect to much.
Lame place to stay
Even though the hotel building has potencial the place is truly absurd. Check in is on the 2nd floor. Decoration is a bad taste from the 90's and the restaurants area is chaotic and dirty. I would never recommend this place. Whom ever runs this place should considere doing something about it.
Not worth the cost.
Have been refered to that hotel and booked only to find out that there are similarly priced options in town that offer a much better experience. Rooms have no windows, wifi doesn't really work. Besides that, everything is tidy and clean.
