Super friendly relaxing place

We loved this place. The location is just outside Bonito on a hill in lush surroundings. The cottages are super nice, the staff is very helpful and always has a smile on their faces and there is a pool to relax after the tours in the surroundings. Breakfast ist fantastic. To get into town we jumped into a taxi (20 Reais). One of our favorite paces we stayed, while in Brazil.

Peaceful location in a small wooded hill about a 20 minute walk from the town centre. Friendly staff. Good selection in the buffet breakfast. Nice size pool to relax by that never had any guests in it. The rooms are small cabins, they have comfy beds, hot showers and balconies with hammocks where you can watch the wildlife go by.
Good location, outside town

We stayed three nights, all was nice. The pool is good enough to cool down, in case it is hot. The Hotel is outside town, so if you do not have a rental, then having dinner or lunch is difficult. Walking is too fare. Tou Operator will pick up.
Beautiful chalets and property on the edge of town.

Chale do Bosque is located about 10-15 minutes from Central Bonito by foot, at the edge of town. The property is on top of a small hill that overlooks Bonito and has some wildlife like Possums, Capybaras, Toucans and many other birds. It's a nice and serene atmosphere with a beautiful property and pool area. The rooms have balconies that overlook nature and are great for relaxing privately.
Breakfast was simple but good. There are a couple of supermarkets on the main street that are quite close so we stalked up there. Overall, it's a nice, relaxing escape after your excursion or after dinner in Bonito. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a walk and taxis in Bonito in our experience, are not cheap - They charged us 25, then 20 reas to get there from Central Bonito. Also, WIFI really only works in the main area so don't expect access in your room. I am giving this a 4 because although housekeeping was apparently daily at noon, they did not enter our are room once in 3 nights. No towels, toilet paper, etc. Otherwise, I fully recommend this place.
Small but perfect

Set in a little oasis on a small hill in Bonito the standards are amazing. This has been my favourite pousada on this trip. Whenever I look at the beds in pousadas I ask myself would I sleep naked in this, and usually the answer is no. Here the standards are so high the answer would be yes. Crisp white IRONED sheets changed daily, towels that look brand new and a very comfortable bed. The owner is super efficient, the car only had to pull up and she was there with our keys. The breakfast area was cool and attractive with wooden chairs and tables. A freshly baked cake daily (well balanced with no sickly trimmings) great fruit juice and excellent coffee as well as cooked eggs and meat with various breads.
There is a hammock on each verandah overlooking lush vegetation. The pool was great to use especially as we had it to ourselves for 3 of our 4 days. Nearby were lots of bird feeding tables so we saw some interesting birds while sitting there. The showers were perfect (no wires sticking out, no clogged up shower head) the air conditioning efficient.
We were all sad to leave, and as someone has said before Maria and her son were excellent hosts and couldnt have made our stay more pleasurable. Thank you
