Budget Friendly Place

If you are in a budget and looking for a place to stay in boracay well this place was okay. It was located in station 1 and 3minutes walk going to the beach. The room has no aircon but it has a private bathroom which is not bad. Free wifi only at the reception area. Over all it was fine and comfortable place to stay.
3 night stay

We stayed in Dormitels from 3rd of January for 3 nights. It’s a small room with a double bed and only tv attached to the wall. 2 plugs under it. So you couldn’t do two things at once. You could either charge your phone or watch tv. The sink is in the corner with a tiny toilet with a shower head over it which we couldn’t find to begin with because it was behind the door. There’s nothing else in the room. All our belonging were on the floor, toiletries were kept on top of the toilet. The room could do with some shelves and hooks to put and hang things. I brought a chair from the garden to have somewhere to hang our clothes. The water pressure in the shower was none existent. The location was pretty good though, 2 minutes walk to the beach and shops, laundry around the corner. It’s very quiet there and WiFi reached the room even though they said it’s in the common room only. It’s not a bad place but we needed more space. It wasn’t comfortable and enjoyable stay for us. Very stressful actually. We only stayed there for 3 nights because I’ve booked it in advance and it wasn’t cheap. For the rest of our stay we booked La Bella rooms literally around the corner which were bigger and more comfortable and also cheaper.

The room we stayed was okay for couples. Even though there are thin nipa walls, I think we do not have neighbors that night so the place is quiet. The room has a ceiiling fan and a cable TV. The landmark we used was the Boracay Toilet (but I realized its easier to use the basketball court as the landmark). It was not easy to locate but use google maps and ask locals if you're around the area already. The grotto is a 5 minute walk away.

Location - Not easy to locate however, if you are well versed with using Google maps, it shouldn't be a problem, it's in the area behind the church. 5-7 min. walk from the famous Station 1 grotto and Jonah's fruit shake. There's a nearby convenience store and several sari sari stores around. Check in - was a breeze. The reception was nice and accommodating. Room - Was basic. 1 small window beside the door. There's a sink outside the room and a mirror good enough to see your face. TV was ok. They have cable although I barely used it since i was out all day. Amenities - Bathroom was clean, bed was ok. Room was spacious. Recommendation - I stayed here last February 2017. It wasn't too hot so the fan room was adequate. I was mostly out all day walking around and doing activities. This is ok if you just need a place to keep your things while you roam and explore the island. Not recommended for staycation though. Will I stay here again? Sure! for the price of the room, it's all good for me. I value my privacy so I love that I can get a solo room for the price of a bed in a dorm. Ohhh and yeah they have free wifi (but only in the lobby area) and they have a generator(which is important because sometimes, the power goes out in the island).
AC ROOM TOO OLD AND BADA NON AC ROOM IS FINE

As a traveller who after for a budget rooms sometimes you need to settle and adjust on what's available rather than the properties adjusting your needs but sometimes there are points which needs to put into consideration since after all, everything needs balance. I appreciate that the property has a friendly 24-hours staff however, the name of the property within its location is confusing since the biggest signage showing is ECO hotel and not dormitels, and since I book for dormitels I happened to go back and forth out of confusion which took me 10 minutes before I approach the front desk sitting on the eco hotel counter. I stayed at their AC room for 3 nights but too bad, i understand it's a budget hotel but the space is too small, the beddings full of ants and there are stains where at first I thought its mud. It took another 30 minutes for me to wonder why like these?.. sitting on the edge of the bed, no mirror no pail and dipper inside the toilet. On the 3rd day I was scheduled to transfer to a non AC room and a night before we have it all arranged by the FD telling me I can transfer by anytime before 12:00 noon. I packed everything as early as 10 am considering we have activities waiting but they forgot the deal where in fact I need to go to the FD twice. I was transferred to the non AC room and it's better, it's bigger and clean. I regret booking their AC room upstairs. I should have booked the non AC.
