I had one of the best stays at this property from Marriott. The amazing experience started from checkin. Stephanie R was absolutely amazing. Her attention to detail is impressive. Not only was I given a suite with an amazing view but she made sure that during my entire stay I get the same level and quality of experience as I got at checkin. Often I have noticed at properties checkin is great but its downhill after that. However at this property Stephanie goes out of her way to ensure every guest is looked after as if they are the only guest at the property :) I would definitely be coming back at this property.

.We were in suite 1005, with a city view. The unit was immaculate. It was small, but felt much bigger due to the high ceilings. They were very efficient in the use of built ins and closets to give adequate storage.
There was a king bed in the bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The dining table had 4 not-so-comfortable chairs that did not slide in and out well on the carpet. The limited kitchen had an under-counter refrigerator, sink and microwave with a counter, and a single-serve coffee maker. No dishwasher. There was a nice assortment of kitchen items in addition to the place settings for 4.
The bathroom had a tub/shower combo, with quartz countertop and marble tub surround and floor. A nice touch was a magnifying mirror on the wall. The hair dryer was very good quality and powerful.
The resort had planned social activities daily, and every staff member we met went out of their way to make the guests feel welcome. They had martini tastings 3 nights, a whiskey tasting one afternoon, a cannoli taste-off one day, a clam chowder taste-off another, and root beer floats and tiramisu in the lobby on 2 occasions. There were organized tours led by staff members; some free and some with a nominal cost. There was live entertainment 2 nights.
The resort was in a wonderful location to walk to many of the city’s attractions. The aquarium, North End, Faneuil Hall and the freedom trail sites were all within walking distance. There is an abundance of restaurants in the area. They ferry to Charlestown was a short walk away. The 26th floor observatory gave a spectacular view of the city.
The unit did not have a washer/dryer, but there was a laundry room with complimentary washers/dryers for guest use. There was a recreation room with a pool table, and a children’s playroom.
Each morning there was a continental breakfast served; with a la carte prices. The offerings were sparse and pre-packaged, but the prices were reasonable. Coffee and tea are available complimentary each morning in the breakfast room. There were free mimosas on two mornings (listed on the weekly schedule given at check-in).
The valet parking is expensive - $48 per night, but all the area lots were not much cheaper. There were in and out privileges. A 7-11 is directly across the parking lot for convenience.
It was a pleasure staying at the Custom House. I am looking forward to returning.

Our experience at the Marriott Custom House was amazing! Monika at the front desk was extremely helpful; her courtesy and professionalism brought our trip to the next level. She provided so many tips for exploring the city and when I told her we were traveling for my son's birthday, she and Stephanie arranged a special treat for him! The location cannot be beat, we were in walking distance to many of our must-see spots. Additionally, Andrea helped me out when I left some items behind. Overall, wonderful experience.

The hotel is in great location with good lobby and observation deck. Everything else is on downward. Small rooms and most of them has no view. We were give room on 11 floor with no view even that I made that note while reserving the room. I mean for spending $600 we were hoping to get a city view.
The next day went to breakfast and it was only frozen bagels and stale fruit and we have to pay for that. Plus audacity of the serve, the coffee was picked up at 10:51 while we still eating and the breakfast ends at 11 :00 am. The only person I would recommend is front desk, Donka as she was helpful in storing our Maine blue berry pie after our checkout. I Rather pay half the price and stay in Hilton downtown and I bet you their service and amenities will be way better.
