Nothing special but the fitness room is a disaster
We staysed in this hotel for 2 nights during a short business trip. The good thing it is at the airport 5min walk from there. The rooms are clean and well kept. Still it was annoying that at 9.30 somebody from the maintenance personell was entering my door without knocking on it. The breakfast is not included in the original price so early express breakfast I suggest to skip and better visit Starbucks at the departure gates. The fitness room that open at 9.00 is a disaster there are two excercise bike that seemed to be switched off and I dis not find the swimming pool
Disappointing
I'm not one for moaning but I think 127€ for a night stay is only acceptable if the room warrents the price. This did not. I travel for business and use these type of hotels regularly. The room was clean and well designed. The TV small with only French channels (no where else in the world does this). The room was set up for one not two, as we had booked. One sachet of coffee, one tea bag, one pot of cream, one bottle of water ... an oversite, maybe but not acceptable at the price. The noise level along the corridor unacceptable - doors slamming, voices; not tge fault of the staff, but a design fault all the same. I would rather pay less and expect less, than pay more and have to go back and forth to reception. This hotel charges for location only.
Nantes Airport Hotel
The Hotel is very good, the staff are very friendly and helpful and it is the prefect place to stay if you are flying in and out of Nantes Atlantique Airport. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel its sister hotel ( 200 yards away) has an excellent restaurant and bar.
Short walk to Nantes Airport
A perfect hotel if you have an early flight to catch at Nantes Airport. It is about 500m walk from the hotel but free shuttle bus can be arranged over the counter. The sister hotel located side by side (Oceania Nantes) is apparently more classy and comes with other amenities like indoor pool , etc but the facilities are shared between the 2 hotels. We just stayed for a night to catch an early morning flight the next day. Overall , this is a no frills hotel reasonably priced. There is nothing much around the hotel other than the usual hotel restaurants but we never tried the food. Distance to the city centre is about 6-7 km across the river.
NICE HOTEL
I was in this hotel only for 1 night. The reception person was extremely good. Room and bed = OK. I didn't take any breakfast. Only few minutes from the airport and there is a bus who can bring you in case of bad weather.
