Great Location with Tesla Superchargers
Fab location for a mid-point stopover, family room is fantastic, there are Tesla Superchargers on site with a restaurant next door. Staff very friendly, and breakfast was mixture of continental and cooked.
I’d stay again
There are cheap hotels that are cheap and very reasonably priced hotels that are not. This hotel is easily in the latter group. A plush hotel it’s not, but the rooms are nice and adequate, the beds and bedding very comfortable, the bathroom spotless and practical. It has a (very) small bar and the breakfast has a good choice. Both the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Evening meal a problem, but the hotel does have some pre-cooked food available We were traveling through France to Switzerland. For an overnight stay on the route we took it was perfect. Close to the motorway but quiet. Yes, I would stay there again
New and moderen hotel (should be 3.5 points)
All completely new and clean. The location, well... it's isolated and actually a Motel and only accessible by car, nothing in walking distance. Besancon is about more the 25 minutes driving. Breakfast was fine, and so were the staff. Rooms are very clean (a new hotel) and good size
Modern new build hotel close to highway
Akena is a convenient hotel close to the highway. Rooms are clean and okay for shorter stay. Restaurant is not a real restaurant but serves "pre"cocked meals from a short list. Fine if you want something quick without leaving the hotel. Great parking and plugs for electric cars. No problem to bring your dog.
All excellent excepting wifi
Room, bed, breakfast, bathroom and people all super. BUT - your provider demands a lot of seriously private information to log on to wifi. This is not required anywhere else in France or the EU - and we travel a lot. We did not use the wifi and should we think we need wifi we will stay at a different hotel.
