Upgrades Made it Better
Had a good for an overnight in Branson. Service was friendly and efficient. The room was recently redone so it was fresh and clean. The towels, however, were pretty well worn and getting thin....time for a replacement I would say. WIFI worked fine and the beds gave us a good night's sleep. It was all we needed, and at a reasonable price. Breakfast fare was hot and cold items. Overall we were satisfied and would consider it for another overnight in Branson. It is located right on the strip so it is a convenient location. Even during covid we got a good breakfast and they prepared it for us.....fresh cooked omelets mmmmm.
Wonderful experience!
We stayed here last weekend. The room we stayed was newly renovated - 2 bedroom suite, room 200 . The room was clean , there’s a spot for choice members just in front of the room, if you’re not a choice member , there’s ample parking space at the back . The location is perfect. Close to restaurants, attractions, shops and a lot more. Our dining experience was great. They cook your food after you order, it’s hot, fresh and safe - unlike buffet . They wore mask. Dining area was clean and most of all the staff in the dinning are was superb! The lady who was serving our food was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The price we paid was truly worth it and we will definitely stay again, I in fact booked again for next month. I’m rating it this hotel a 10 for customer service.
Friendly Staff, good location, comfortable, clean room.
First, if you are reading this review, I will assume you are aware this is a budget hotel chain and have reasonable expectations. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite for a week in July. We need a larger room for a family of 6, and this room fit the bill. Before we booked I saw a lot of mixed reviews online, so I wanted to leave a review to make some sense of it. Based on reviews I read, the hotel was under a renovation. From what we saw, this hotel is under a phased remodel. Not all the rooms are renovated, and they are still finishing up the dining area flooring. Our room was newly remodeled before we stayed and the pictures on the website are not current of what the room is like today. We had a brand new shower, carpet, paint and flooring. It is still not a luxury hotel, but a comfortable room. In regards to COVID-19, unlike some other hotels, they are still providing guests with a hot breakfast. They will cook a breakfast to order with pancakes, eggs, sausage, omelets, biscuits and gravy, etc. We got up early every day to beat the breakfast crowd. There is an indoor pool that is scheduled by family for COVID-19. The outdoor pool is open and can be used without an appointment. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We interacted with many different employees during our stay, and they were all wonderful. If you are going to stay here, I would make sure you ask for a room that has already been remodeled. If you are reading this after Summer of 2020 all the rooms should be updated.
We love this place!
We keep coming back to this motel because it is just what we need! JoAnn and Jim take very good care of us while we are there! They are always super friendly and helpful. The rooms are being remodeled and look great! This is a super clean and affordable place with a fabulous location- right in the heart of it all!! Breakfast is always great!! They have new breakfast staff who is doing a fabulous job, but I must say we surely missed the ladies who worked there for so long. We can’t wait to stay with them again! Keep up the good work!
Trust Issues
We made reservations through Choice Hotels. We chose this particular hotel because of the low price and low price for our pet. Also, they have a hot breakfast that is actually cooked on a stove. However, this trip they were out of ham for omelets. Anyway, in the end it cost us more time and money. When we got home, I noticed a separate charge for another night on my bank statement. When I contacted the hotel, instead of refunding the amount for the room they charged us again. I understand simple mistakes and they fixed that and it was refunded back to our account. After 30 days we still have not been refunded for the extra night we were charged. Now we can't get anyone to answer the phone, it keeps going to the Choice Hotel reservation line. . . . I have contacted Choice Hotels customer service and they weren't able to get anyone to answer the phone either. I've left it in their hands for now. Moral of the story - check your charges online before you leave a hotel.
