Rented thru Great Western Lodging

Reviewed 20 september, 2020

Great Western Lodging mislead us about the condition of this unit. We were told that it was in great shape, everything updated. Found it to be totally worn out, old worn out furniture, moldy, bedrooms out dated, kitchen and bathrooms very outdated. Went to Great Western's office the next morning and was told that they had recently taken over unit and she had not seen it. Three days later complained again was offered another unit, we just left and went back to Denver. Ask for partial refund and never heard from them again. We were on 49th anniversary trip, very disappointed. Never Again, Doug Nichols

In the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, these people were unwilling to cancel a reservation two weeks out, with an ongoing declared state of emergency in their region. It is dispicible to me that people like this will try to profit off of the situation while all airlines, car rental agencies, etc are allowing changes to reservations and cancellations with no cancellation fees. I would have even been fine with a one night fee, but to charge the full four nights is just greedy. Talk about a "it's all about me" attitude. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. I promise if they pull this stuff in a pandemic, they will find a way to screw you over too.

Not Impressed for a Summer Stay

Reviewed 9 august, 2017

This is a hard review to leave, as the units are individually owned- that said, none of my issues are with the specific decor or furnishings within the unit. We recently stayed for a week to enjoy summer in the mountains. The location is pretty good for walking to town- you are taking a decent grade down to town and up on the return trip...however, that's the mountains! Pros: The location was good The buildings are well maintained The price was not outrageous Cons: -The neighborhood pool was a joke- far away and super small. It is advertised as "indoor" but only 3-4 feet can be indoors and the rest is out. -The buildings only have one hot tub- this was ok during the summer, but I can't imagine this is sufficient during peak ski season. -There is no A/C.. now, the mountains never get really hot, but we were uncomfortable at night and had to purchase fans at Walmart. It was also hard to leave the windows open as all the bedrooms look down to the parking lot- we heard everyone come home and every car lock beep. I'm giving it three starts because we still managed to have a great week using this as our home base. I can't say that I would return.

rustic condo for nice ski week

Reviewed 22 march, 2016

could use some updates, the kitchen sink was difficult to turn off and in garage low shelving so beware so kids don't hit their heads. loved they had a washer/dryer close to the lift but if there is little snow, still need to walk to lift nice we could walk to town. the hot tub and pool was crowded but that is expected.

Comfortable accomodation

Our favorite part about our condo was the radiant heat in the flooring. It was clean and the information communicated about entry was clear. There was some confusion about the number of double beds in the listing versus in the condo, so be sure to verify.
