The hotels front desk is being managed by this itty bitty tiny little guy. There were guests at the hotel who had a party in the lobby, completely unrelated to any one in our group and he blamed us for what they did. First off check your own cameras first little buddy. He threw out a family with 3 children under 12 years old in the middle of the night, so they had to sleep in their car. This guy is a disgrace to hospitality, actually he’s a disgrace too man kind. This little guy should be washing dishes not running a hotel. He called the cops on this family and had them thrown out of the hotel because they stood up for themselves and didn’t allow this really little guy to bully and berate them, especially when they were 100 percent innocent. This was by far the worst experience my new husband and I have ever had at any hotel in all our years. The property is run down, the rooms are small, poorly lit, and most refrigerators are not running. TVs in the rooms also were not working. Many rooms smelled intensely of smoke, and the halls were covered in garbage 24-7. The rooms clearly are not cleaned prior to guests staying there, as there was toothpaste all over our bathroom and various bugs and spider webs in corners of the room.
My husband and I spent 4 nights here for our wedding, as this is the closest hotel to where we were getting married, and we had booked a hotel block well before covid, that we had to move twice. Each time they had less and less rooms available, which is understandable, we were the ones forced to move our wedding twice, we cannot expect the hotel to accommodate that. However, they incorrectly wrote up our contract the third time, forcing many of our guests to be without a room as they removed our block earlier than the contract said. In addition to this, for the guests that were staying at the hotel for the wedding, we wanted to ensure each guest got a hotel gift bag we had put together. We confirmed with the front desk several times, and they showed us the block of rooms and where our guests were all staying, only to then put them all on different floors. They claimed our guests checked in late or early, which was 100% incorrect, and therefore caused significant chaos for the entire weekend. Half our guests were on all different floors, all because the staff was completely unorganized. There were no amenities and no accommodations made for guests who were forced to stay in run down rooms. One guest had medication that needed to be refrigerated, of course, the mini-fridge did not work. The staff asked them to give the medicine to the front desk to hold - completely unacceptable and irresponsible of a staff member to offer to illegally hold medication for a person.
Speaking of the staff again, not only were they incompetent, but they were also nasty and significantly rude. There was only one staff member who was kind, and unfortunately, we were unable to get his name.
This hotel (although motel would be a more apt name for this property) is very aware that they are the closest overnight accommodations area to many venues that service parties, weddings, and big events and therefore they clearly know they can charge whatever they want and provide minimal service. Our sound advice, along with the advice of the other 12 guests we had stay at this facility - if you're going in this direction and need a place to stay, find anywhere else, or just stay home. This facility and the way they treat humans is completely unacceptable.

Both front entry doors have signs saying you cannot enter without a mask, yet their associates do not wear masks at all, or do not have them over their nose and mouth, and it is not enforced with guests. When I asked about it upon departure, I was told CDC had changed the rules, so they usually tell people it's ok if they are vaccinated. How about changing your signs instead?
Breakfast is a carb loaded selection that you grab and go with, and no housekeeping services...small pieces of trash laid in hallway all 4 days I was there...even though staff had cleaned rooms in the hallway for new guests.
Not what I am accustomed to for Marriott standards.

Good hotel. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Mask wearing wasn’t consistent, even by staff… but at this point I just was there to sleep and get coffee on my way out. There is almost nothing around this hotel (e.g. restaurants). Pool was being refurbished during my visit.
They are not taking Covid seriously

It does not feel that they are taking covid seriously, except in ways that save them money. My bathroom had someone else's hair in it when I arrived. Front desk attendant did not wear her mask or wore it with her nose sticking out. The whole hotel reeked of weed on a Thursday night, and when I went to retrieve my takeout, there were multiple guests at the front desk complaining about the smell. An extra star because the front desk accommodated my request for a late check out. Overall the hotel was a bit run down, and underwhelming.
