Good location

The lodge is in an excellent location, I guess that why they are not trying to be better. The lodge is very minimal. They do not allow to connect to TV to watch our own movies. No AC!!! Service is very minimal. The restaurant on site is horrible.

Perfect spot in Bryce

Lodge is located inside the park nestled in the trees behind the Rim Trail between sunset and sunrise point. The rooms are nice, and have a rustic charm. Not dirty but don’t expect marble floors. Easy check in. We stayed one night and arrived around 2:30pm. Got unpacked and cleaned up and enjoyed the sunset as we strolled around the rim trail. Woke up next morning and headed out to the Queens Garden - Navajo Loop trail then headed off to Zion. I can imagine this place is packed and highly reserved in the peak months but we had no trouble getting a reservation a few months ago.

Room was below par, but location made up for it

Hubby and I stayed one night on second floor in Sunrise Lodge. Staff member at check-in was extremely nice and helpful. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking trees that was relaxing after a long day of hiking. Staying in the park was priceless. We were able to easily walk to the rim to see the sunrise without having to drive in from somewhere else and stop in the room during the day for supplies, etc. Now the negatives: Room was very basic, there was no TV, and we could never get on wi-fi. There are no elevators, but we found this to be a trend as four of the five hotels on our trip had none. This wouldn't have been a problem if we weren't over packers! :) In spite of the room shortfalls, we would definitely stay here again for the convenience of being in the park. And if you can't get a reservation at first, keep checking back because they do have cancellations. My husband checked online every couple of days and got us a room a few days before our stay!

Great cabin stay!

We recently stayed in one of the cabins at Bryce Canyon Lodge for one night. The cabin was located just a short walk from the canyon edge and we were able to park right in front of our cabin, both of which made getting around so much easier! The cabin itself was clean and the beds very comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay!

We had the loveliest time at this lodge. The room had a back porch that was perfect for a drink or dining as we did after picking up dinner at the dining room. The location near the rim is amazing. Fabulous opportunity to walk right out for sunrise. We were so very happy to be in the gorgeous park instead of having to wait and drive in. Would not have been nearly as fun. Highly recommended!!
