older but nice

Reviewed 23 october, 2021

We stayed here one night. The staff was friendly and gave us spots to go for supper, we walked down the street to Maggie's. This is an older Inn but well kept. We enjoyed the one night we spent. Luggage must be carried inside and put on a cart but there is an elevator to the second floor.

Great choice

Reviewed 28 september, 2021

Wanted to check the place out after a friend accidentally booked a night here instead of our usual stop. Glad I did. Head and shoulders better than our usual for only a few dollars more. Clean. Well located. Friendly staff. Everything we want in a short-term stay. Breakfast is not much -- some Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and a wide selection of cereal bars. The restaurant on the sign is no longer operating. But the lounge is. The rooms are upstairs. The elevator is slow and small. Luggage carts are available but there aren't any cut curbs.

Awesome Owner!!

Reviewed 9 august, 2021

Dropping my son off at WVWC and realized we had no transportation in town to get us to the airport. The owner of the hotel, Robbie, was kind enough to drive us (I insisted on paying!) to Clarksburg so we didn’t miss our flight. This is kindness and service on another level and my wife and I couldn’t be more grateful! This was my second stay at The Bi-Centennial and we will be loyal customers for years to come. Thank you so much Robbie and Staff!

No more food and No cell service

Reviewed 8 august, 2021

First room I was assigned to, Smoke smell galore.. so they moved me.. it was tough as they had a crew in for a wedding, so I over heard. The second room, I am pretty sure the box spring was broken, if you slept on the left side, you were about to fall off.. had to sleep in the middle of the king bed. There is no more food, Breakfast is grab and go wrapped muffins and such, restaurant closed in 2020 and never reopened.. Cell Service? If your with Verizon, forget about it. I walked up and down main street. No Service.. I was out of service in that area for at least 65 miles. Speaking to the Manager.. even BOOST, which has a store in town, does not work.

Delightful hotel

Reviewed 8 july, 2021

This was such a nice change from chain hotels. It's a smaller hotel with personality and a wonderful staff. The room was nice and clean, the bed slept great, and it has the greatest tub we've ever had in a hotel. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed each one.
