I really like this new quiet hotel at the plaza dorrego. Big smart tv. Lots of small shops and restaurants nearby. And the market. Weekend street partys. Close to the historic center. Museums and parks.
Such a charming hotel
Amazing boutique hotel in a very charming neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Surround by shopping, cafes, restaurants all within easy walking. My room was stunning and overlooked a beautiful garden. The hotel is small but has all of the charm in the world. Was exactly what I needed after a long business meeting.
5 star service and quality
Used this hotel twice on a tour of South America. The hotel is located on picturesque square in San Telmo. A relatively new hotel, you could tell. The interior was well designed with a modern twist. The outdoor court yard for drinks and breakfast was a nice surprise. The surrounding area is very Argentinian - close to the indoor food market which is a must see/do. Rooms, whilst small are well designed and extremely comfortable with all the facilities needed. Modern, clean and quiet. The staff realy do excel here. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as regular friends and nothign was too much trouble, from dinner recommendations to booking taxi and boat services to general advice. We found it pleasant to walk around the cobbled streets, even though we were warned at nights to be aware. Loads of great little restaurants in surrounding streets. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting BA.
Fantastic service, nice rooms, good location
We stayed for one night at Anselmo and were deligthed by the helpfulness of the staff. The location of the hotel at a small square in the old town with restaurants and shops nearby is very good. We liked the modern room which was very quiet (most rooms seem to face a small courtyard and therefore are not exposed to the noise of the street).
Wonderful San Telmo address with terrific staff
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights before a cruise around the southern part of South America. The bed was very comfortable, the room decor very unique and contemporary, the bath had all the amenities of a rain shower shower head, bidet, and lovely bath products. (we were not able to get face cloths but that was my bad for forgetting to pack our travel cloths - I do know better). However, the staff tried to accommodate our wishes and brought additional small hand towels to try to get close to what we were looking for. This hotel is in a lovely square in the fantastic neighborhood of San Telmo. Lots of restaurants, antique stores (so much sterling silverware sets and serving pieces - who knew??, outdoor cafes with Tango demonstrations, and a central market with produce, fresh meats and fish, and food (don't miss the empanadas). Good spot to walk to sites and pick up the Hop on Hop Off Bus to get acquainted with the city. The hotel offered a good breakfast buffet and an incredibly helpful staff. I came to learn that most Argentinians and Chileans are a loving, helpful, gentle people.
