More about the hotel
Inexpensive place to spend one night; good value for price
Excellent location close to the ferry terminal and within walking distance of the Plaza de Mayo and several other attractions. Reasonably quiet. Room was spacious, dated but overall functional. Comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious bathroom, shower with good water pressure. Basic breakfast. Need improvement: - A/C can be controlled from front desk only - Old metallic door key, difficult to get into the lock - Poor wifi: frequently disconnecting
Attractive package hotel/airline ticket. Poor choice
Quality of service was quite good but if I was not fluent in spanish it may have been not so good. The location, 2 blocks from the aiport bus depot is excellent, at ARS $400 (US$6.3) it takes the same time to go by taxi but the cost difference is huge. Checking in was a breeze but my report goes down the hill from here. The modestly furnished room is in desperate need of a coat of paint. The tiny lift can only take 3 passengers. Nobody warned me but if you keep the room key in your pocket, the room doesn’t get cleaned. The temperamental safe needs training to make it work. The free wi fi is down most if the time and requests for the modem to be rebooted are invariable responded with YES SIR, IN FIVE MINUTES but then ignored The included breakfast is very poor, consisting in cordial, breads and cornflakes with coffee or tea At night a teribly loud noise, so strong it interfered with listening the tv was caused by the house air conditioner. It is impossible to sleep when this monster is working. My advice is to stay elsewhere
Good location
The best aspect is its good location: near subway station, shops and theaters. The reception staff was really helpful and nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The worst aspect was breakfast as it was too simple and if you wanted scrambled eggs and ham and cheese you had to pay extra. The breakfast staff didn’t pay much attention to missing food on the table and were noisy chatting loudly.
NOISY.
This hotel is good option if you have ticket to luna park, is at front. So you finish the show and go directly. But at night this place is not really good ( except if you go to Puerto Madero ), but this side is not good. Hotel > correct. Is noisy ,,, you are at front of Luna Park
Adequate budget hotel
Hotel selected for convenience to business mertings and good price. It was generally ok and given the room rate couldn't expect any better. Split stay as went out of town mid-visit. Two different rooms both large but with small bathrooms. Old furniture but good bed. Quirky a/c luckily not needed overnight but just to cool room in late afternoon. Same breakfast buffet each morning probably more interesting to visit local coffee shops. Good location some street noise upto midnight then ok.
