Nice Hotel...Friendly Front Desk Attendant
Reviewed 15 October, 2020
The front desk attendant, Marti was great. She was able to locate a room that met our needs and she gave great dining advice. The room was nice. There was no breakfast because of Covid but the room price was no less than when they were offering breakfast. Seems like they should have adjusted the price since no breakfast was available. The biggest issue was the lack of water pressure in the shower...it was terrible :(

! Property is being used as LOW INCOME/CHARITY HOUSING, as well as hotel. Only discovered that after we had checked in and noticed crying & yelling people in the parking lot. Barefoot girl & guy with shorts hanging below his crack in the lobby. Scotch-taped paper notes along all halls saying smokers will be evicted. We asked to speak with the owner & was told she would call us. She didn't. We double-bolted the door & worried about our vehicle's safety all night.
Quality, Quality, Quality!

We stayed here on February 29th. This guy at the desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is among the cleanest that I’ve ever stayed at (Better than some high-end hotels). While the room is very basic, it has everything you would need for a quick overnight stay. The bed linens were immaculate and there wasn't even any dust on the surfaces. The vending machines are well stocked and accept credit cards which is a must for a cashless guy like myself! the AC in the room worked very well but it was a little loud (not a huge deal for me). There's a small fitness center located just beyond the lobby. There are plenty of fast food options nearby including Long John Silver’s/A&W, Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc. The breakfast selection was perfectly acceptable and had a sufficient number of options. I will note that upon checking out around 6:15AM, there were no Uber's available, but the desk promptly provided me with several taxi companies to call and no more than 15min later we were in an A2Z taxi headed to the airport! Overall, I’d highly recommend this Quality Inn to anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to spend the night in Burlington, IA!

I was traveling with work and really enjoyed the friendly staff greeting me! I stayed here 3 days. Quality Inn-Burlington IA is conveniently located to Casino and 6 minutes from the river and downtown area. The bed/pillows were the most comfortable I have had at a hotel in over a year! Thank you to Frank, Michael, Robin, and Lisa! I really enjoyed the scrambled egg, sausage, and gravy breakfast too!

When in Burlington, I tend to stay here because of the low prices but I may change that just because of the annoying problems I keep having there. In my mind, the internet should work anywhere in a motel, not just close to the office. Unfortunately, that's what I experienced here recently. I was down toward the end of the hall and the internet wouldn't connect. My computer showed that it was connected but I couldn't log. Perhaps this an issue of too many being logged on because the log in went through an hour later but still, the problem shouldn't be there.
I will applaud them on dropping their silly charge for an in-room safe. I didn't have to tell them to remove it when I checked out.
