Estamos localizado no prolongamento da Praia do Forte que é principal no centro de Cabo Frio, mas temos a tranquilidade de uma praia privativa. Ficamos a 5 minutos do centro de Cabo Frio e Arraial do Cabo, em frente à duna Mãe. A praia do Foguete está em uma área de preservação ambiental com dunas e vegetações intactas, com muitas aves marinhas e frequente aparecimento de baleias e golfinhos. Ideal para descansar e pratica de surf, kite surf, vela.

A lovely beachfront hotel in one of the most beautiful beaches
From the moment I arrived at the hotel the owner, the daughter, the son and all the employees did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and by all means they did! It was a wonderful experience. The rooms are big and the colonial construction adds to the charm of this place. Make sure to book the beach front room with balcony, definitely worth the extra investment. The breakfast is very nice and during NYE they had a party for the guests and it was lovely. They set up music at the beach so we could see the fireworks and celebrate the beginning of the New Year. They have lovely setup at the beach with chairs, tables and towels and also beach service. You can order food and drinks and they will bring it to you. All you have to do is enjoy and relax the beautiful ocean in front of you. Foguete Beach is between Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo and it is a perfect location, 10 mins drive to Arraial do Cabo and10 mins to Cabo Frio downtown. In addition, it is 30 mins to Buzios. Enjoy relax and get wooed by the charm of the people in this lovely "pousada" and make your vacations magical like we did.
Great place
This hotel has everything going for it, it is on the beach, has excellent staff and is beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommended it to anybody. It's not in the heart of Cabo Frio, but it is perfectly situated between Cabo Frio and Arrial do Cabo, with a frequent bus ride to either.
Really Cool Place
Really cool place run by a very nice and friendly Brazilian family. Welcomed us with smiles every day, made us feel very nice. Breakfast is good, has all you might need, rooms are bright, spacious and v.clean!! Location fantastic , right on a white sand beach with turquoise waters. Very good for surfing, kite surfing , 30min walk from down town CaboFrio.
Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious and very nice and cool with A/C. The pousada is in front of a beautiful turquoise beach, less busy than the beaches in Cabo Frio and may be even the best in that area! The hotel is a drive away from the buzz of Cabo Frio city centre (very short drive) and has a warm, family run environment! The place is great for relaxing (for families and couples) on the beach and surfing / kite surfing. One thing, we would definitely recommend coming by car - gives you the option to explore the area and drive for Buzios nightlife.
Wrong googlemaps location
Please pay attention that googlemaps will give you wrong direction to the hotel. If you want to find one, you better look for Pousada Laguna and next to it Pousada Jatai is located. The hotel is very good, but a bit cold for August rainy weather with no amenities provided for such a case (a/c does not give any heat).
