Excellent value in the heart of charming town
We recently booked 2 rooms for one night in Zahara at this lovely hotel and were very pleased with our stay. My husband and I had a spacious room with a small balcony overlooking the main street. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with excellent coffee. The man at reception was also welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend the town of Zahara with its beautiful streets and views and definitely recommend this hotel.
Cute and central
Recently spent two nights at this lovely little hotel. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the village. We had a double room with a cute little balcony that overlooked the village. Rooms are basic but perfectly functional. Would definitely stay again.
Great
This is slap bang in the centre of the town had a little balcony over looking the town it was spotless clean and very friendly I would definitely go back lovely hotel in a lovely town three days was not long enough
Character style and welcoming
Situated right in the heart of the village, but oh what a slog to get up there so be fit ! Bars outside, so expect a bit of noise until late, and a brass band practises next door every early evening, the same tunes. But it's really well worth staying for the character of the place, the host owner is lovely chap and most helpful, clientele is mostly hikers . Breakfast very basic, toast, coffee etc. Eat dinner at the Lago restaurant at the bottom of the village, not cheap but excellent. Also, you will be very lucky if you find a place to park near the Hostal, this place was designed for donkeys, and you will be a nuisance if you try to drive up.
Excellent stay!
We booked 2 rooms in Hostal Marques de Zahara for 1 night. The staff was very friendly and helpeful before and during our stay. The rooms were very spacious, with great views and, in one case, a balcony facing the street in front of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet during our stay, so we had a good night's rest. The breakfast was simple but good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zahara de la Sierra and its surroundings. It's about a 40 minute drive from Ronda and well worth the detour for anyone looking for a good, quiet place to stay after visiting Ronda.
